IEC ends at 900p the lowest level of the day which shows that it has not bottom out yet. Director selling has not create confidence.

Even though it's up to 935 at the moment...it might pull back down into the 880p area.

Perhaps I spoke too soon...if there was another drop...I reckon there would be support around the 850p area...I'm going by the chart...we shall see !

be surprised if iec does not end the day comfortably over 930 and continue bouncing for a while to resume around 1200 + before the summer:
Disquiet over hefty dilution is understandable but, even counting this, Imperial still trades at a discount to a conservative reserves-based valuation. The shares are good value at 940p.

Stop behaving like a prat scotinvestor...I mean the 8 pound area that's anywhere from 800p to 899p....and it is possible that IEC could enter this area tomorrow !

certainly held that when all was darkest gloom and doom, so not impossible to see much closer to 10.00 even today ..... may depend on how Wall Street reacts to the employment figures whatever their hue

With the SP down to around 9 30p and a rights issue (which the institutions
seem to have agreed upon), which if you take 3 for 2 as a possibility. So thats
say 25% drop in SP + a further drop of 33% so to raise the $600m (roughly 300m)
thats a further 50m shares needed to cover the fund raising, thats almost double
the shares in circulation at present so 100m shares. At 13 50p proir to the news which saw this drop the M/Cap was around 700m, at present its 491m + the 300m raised gives a total of around 800m, is roughly what i make it?
So thats 800/100 = 8, again rule of thumb calc's.
Thats my thoughts on of the present situation, looking from the outside i will
wait and see how things work out before making any decision.

the downside 7% at todays SP (850p?) and a target of 1034p.
