Israeli Gaza conflict?????? (GAZA)

Fred1new - 06 Jan 2009 19:21

Will this increase or decrease the likelihood of terrorist actions in America, Europe and the rest of the world?

If you were a member of a family murdered in this conflict, would you be seeking revenge?

Should Tzipi Livni and Ehud Olmert, be tried for war crimes if or when this conflict comes to an end?

What will the price of oil be in 4 weeks time?

What do you expect, parrot? We all know you find this orgasmic, but try a mass invasion across a border, ignore the warning shots over the heads, and you are going to end up DEAD, VERY DEAD.
Actually, armchair warrior parrot, get off your perch and go out and try it for yourself LOL
Be a martyr, be a shahid, give us all a big laugh

cynic - 15 May 2011 22:02 - 5023 of 6906

not in syria - you don't have to cross the border

An 18-year old Palestinian young man was shot dead at noon Sunday east of Gaza city in Shujaiya district.

90 other citizens, mostly children, also sustained different injuries when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened intensive fire and shelled a peaceful march held on the nakba anniversary near Beit Hanoun crossing.

Doctors said most of these citizens were moderately wounded and one of them is in critical condition.

A reporter for the Palestinian information center (PIC) said the IOF fired five artillery shells and machine guns at the march which led to this number of casualties, while ambulances rushed to the scene to transfer the wounded to hospitals.

Thousands of Palestinians participated in this peaceful march and raised Palestinian flags and symbolic keys to indicate their determination to return to their homes in the 1948 occupied lands. Dozens of Italian peace activists were also in the march.

'Shooting at Syrian protesters may violate int'l law'

Expert says details surrounding Nakba Day infiltration of border still unknown, but Israel will have to explain its actions.

Dr. Daphne Richmond-Barak, an expert in international law from the Herzliya Interdisciplinary Center, said Sunday that the breach of the Israeli border by Syrian protesters was an unprecedented act in modern history and a clear violation of Israeli sovereignty as determined by article 51 of the United Nations Charter.

At the same time, she said, firing on civilians was also a breach of international law and that once the details of the event were made clear, it would be required of Israel to explain its actions.

"If we were talking about tanks and soldiers, there would be no question about Israel's right to shoot as an act of protecting its sovereignty. This case however is different," said Richmond-Barak. In this case, there may have been other options open to the soldiers, like arresting or stopping the protesters in less violent ways.

The laws of war are not the appropriate frame work for judging the events in the north. We are not talking about an attack by an invading army. It would be more appropriate to look to the USs actions against Mexican infiltrators on its southern border to learn about legitimate use of force, said Professor Asa Kasher, one of the authors of the IDFs code of ethics.

Dont preach here hay-pass your message on to Gadaffi and at the same time to Bashir Assad-both bloodthirsty leaders of totally corrupt nations.

And why you continue to believe Palestinian news reports simply amazes me. Have you not yet learned that these reports are so inflated with over zealous rhetoric that you simply cannot believe a word that they report??

Several of the posts above including the one right above yours are from Jewish newspapers in Israel. The one above is from the Jerusalem Post.

Here is a post for you from today:

Armed Jewish settlers tossed a number of Molotov cocktails into the house of a Palestinian citizen in the Old City of Al-Khalil on Sunday night after encircling it.

The owner, Jamal Su'ifan, said that tens of settlers besieged his home and threw the firebombs into it, starting fire and burning part of the house, which was sheltering 20 individuals.

He said that Israeli soldiers were escorting the settlers, noting that two members of the Temporary International Presence in the City of Hebron (TIPH) team in Al-Khalil arrived to his home to check the incident but were also surrounded by those settlers.

Su'ifan home is only a few meters away from the Kiryat Arba settlement, which was established on Palestinian land east of Al-Khalil. Settlers in Arba routinely attack nearby Palestinian homes in a bid to terrorize their inhabitants away and take control of them.

Clearly no hope for Israel with inhabitants like this.

A couple from Israel has named their newborn daughter Like after the social networking feature on Facebook.

The girls new moniker was inspired by a button which allows users to express their endorsement of photos, status updates and links.

Lior Alder and his wife Vardit live in the town of Hod Hasharon just outside Tel Aviv and said they wanted a name for their daughter that was modern and innovative.

I'll take your word for it.....you are clearly the voice of experience.

cynic - 17 May 2011 17:37 - 5038 of 6906

unless selfridges have changed or offer both, then their salt beef is dry and nasty silverside ...... there was a great salt beef bar in market place, but i see that carluccio's has now taken over that site

In The Land of the B - 17 May 2011 17:43 - 5039 of 6906

carluccio's is awful, cod Italian with awful service
Selfridges' salt beef is usually very lean so you don't get the moisture of fat, but it's healthier and you get used to it, especially with some moisture from mustard and pickled cucumber and lemon tea.
This thread is improving

cynic - 17 May 2011 17:58 - 5040 of 6906

ITLOB - you hit the nail on the head about selfridges salt beef ..... sorry m8, but it's crap as any yid who knows his sarnies will tell you! .... wtfc if silverside is healthier? ..... cottage cheese is no doubt healthier than epoisses, but i know which i would rather have!
