It is now time to switch to a new Money AM football blog as the world cup is now over and we all look to the future.....World cup 2010 is over, Bravo Espana, and Forlan, once again and bring on the new season !.....I never expected the last thread to be such a success...thanks all.... so this new one might go on for years without the need to edit the title...we shall see...

Post 5139 .. spot on Chris

England always had the two best goalkeepers in the World , Scotland team was always packed with players from top 3 teams in Division 1 .... best Welsh team I ever saw was full of top Div 1 players (Southall , Radcliffe , Hughes , Rush , Saunders , Giggs and Speed 1993).

Sky ruined it , we buy second class foreign crap on inflated wages at the cost of home grown youngsters.

Iceland's captain plays for Cardiff and can't get in the first team and we're in the Chahampionship.

Real Madrid might have Ronaldo and Bale but did you know that 80% of their squads have to be Spanish.

How many Premier League teams have even got 50% UK squads ?

Tonight was funny though

:-)

Spot on Dil :0)

Peter Andre was obviously tongue in cheek. Kelly Brook would be my choice!

Dil - 28 Jun 2016 02:09 - 5144 of 6918

The French phrases you will need for Euro 2016 :

1 - no I'm not English I'm Welsh

2 - did you know Gareth Bale is my cousin

3 - where is the nearest Brains pub

4 - are you a natural blonde like Aaron Ramsey

5 - hey DJ you got any Tom Jones stuff ?

6 - can you show my English friends the way to the airport please

Dil - 28 Jun 2016 02:17 - 5145 of 6918

Look on the bright side Chris at least you won one game out of four ... and i'ts not as though Wales threw it in the 92nd minute because they felt sorry for you was it lol.

Chris Carson - 28 Jun 2016 02:26 - 5146 of 6918

Every credit to Wales Dil, we both know they won't win it but hope they do! :0)

Dil - 28 Jun 2016 02:41 - 5147 of 6918

Took 4 points off Belgium in qualification but they murdered us both games. Can't see us getting past them on Friday too much quality and we only really got Ramsey and Bale.

Never mind , seeded 4th in our group and won it so whatever happens Friday even if we lose 5-0 we've had our day in the sun and can't complain and the managers job is safe (I still don't rate Coleman).

Dil - 28 Jun 2016 02:47 - 5148 of 6918

And no chance of Kelly becoming manager she's a Cardiff fan.

Unfortunately...the main problem is the number of blunders by Joe Hart.....he does pull off some really great saves now and again but he is also static at times on the goalline when he should be in motion, against Iceland he was always two seconds behind where he should be.....and there were hardly any one twos between players in and around the Iceland box......what on earth is the problem with this England team....time after time at each tournament there is a massive something that is lacking.....on a score out of ten : you can only give them two it was that bad....

Joe Hart might be considering a change of career.

He took a bloody good throw-in near to the end of the match and he also very nearly headed in an equaliser just after the throw-in too.

Thought I'd just say what an arrogant piece of work that Roy Hodgson is , " I don't know what i'm doing here ." at the press FA farce yesterday . He's paid £ 3.5 million a year to fail again , I'd have dragged him there . That was after FA bloke said he would use some input from Roy for future , talk sense man you want a failure to give you advice .

RH could with a bit of luck been a national hero !.......his mistake is too many Eriksson like changes...there was no need and some terrible substitutions.....shame really because England once again miss out on going a long way in the Euros.....there is some problem within the England camp.....I want them to go out there and eat the opposition....can't do with smiles and joking about miskicking a ball.....aghhhrrrrr....

required field - 29 Jun 2016 19:49 - 5154 of 6918

Anyway...just taken a punt on Steve Bruce becoming next manager....a long shot but he ticks all the boxes in my opinion.....

ExecLine - 29 Jun 2016 23:42 - 5155 of 6918

The Daily Star tells us its going to be David Beckham.

:-)

Claret Dragon - 30 Jun 2016 06:31 - 5156 of 6918

Shearer for me. We need someone who has some Internatıonal playıng experıence and stıll young enough for the current crop to remember playıng. A couple of other ex ınternatıonals to help along the way as coaches.

The Newcastle last throw of the dıce doesnt bother me as we start wıth a clean sheet from here.

It cant be any worse that past month.

VICTIM - 30 Jun 2016 07:05 - 5157 of 6918

The average fan could have done a better job than Hodgson , got to be a disciplinarian type .

BREAKING NEWS

Due to Brexit and the new immigration points system, not one of the England football team has been allowed entry to the UK, none have shown to possess the required skills necessary for their chosen occupation.
