Evening all

Just for you martini!

Trust Rule 100 e/w
and after a lot of thought Turbo 50 e/w.

I was tempted with Vengeance, but Turbo has been place higher at the last couple of outings when both have run.

Golddog - 09 Apr 2004 20:30 - 5162 of 23498

Evening Littlewoman, Is that all your putting on the horses with your large pot!

little woman - 09 Apr 2004 20:35 - 5163 of 23498

Evening Golddog, I'm afraid so. I've had to set my video this evening to tape Eastenders (!) as I've really struggled with this race. They are a pretty even bunch, some worse than others. None really stand out. Also with the odds so high, I didn't want to win too much if I got it right (lol)

Golddog - 09 Apr 2004 20:40 - 5164 of 23498

Maybe next time jeffers will choose a horse race with less than 4 horses to give the rest of us a chance! hee hee! If you win this one littlewoman i suggest you take it up full time. :-) Are you not out this evening letting your hair down?

Martini - 09 Apr 2004 20:40 - 5165 of 23498

Cheers LW just need hightone to step up to the mark now and an excel spread sheet to work out what bet on what horse/horses gives me a chance of winning by a short head. I can see this being a long night!

Golddog - 09 Apr 2004 20:43 - 5166 of 23498

Hello Martini, I think this horse racing lark is a mugs game, unless the mug is full of tea then it's no so bad!
:-)

Martini - 09 Apr 2004 20:48 - 5167 of 23498

Indeed G but hey it could be worse we could be gambling on the stock market.

little woman - 09 Apr 2004 20:51 - 5168 of 23498

As I've said before GD, I won't use real money on the horses - my mother would never speak to me again. She thinks its bad enough I buy & sell shares!

No I'm not out letting my hair down this evening. I had a really lazy day. Spent the morning in bed watching TV, got up about 3pm and spent 2 hours digging out part of the lawn in preparation for a new path, with a small hedge along its side (once the I've managed to grow the plants!). I made a sage infussion (planted a cutting last year, and it keeps growing) in which I had a nice long soak and now am pottering about trying not to think about the chocolate eggs sitting in the kitchen!

little woman - 09 Apr 2004 20:52 - 5169 of 23498

Martini - mayby HT will leave it to the last minute?

Golddog - 09 Apr 2004 20:52 - 5170 of 23498

Blimey Martini don't waste your money on that Game!
:-)

Golddog - 09 Apr 2004 20:57 - 5171 of 23498

littlewoman, Got up at 3pm! I would say that's lazy but digging up lawn is never easy going so i will let you off. I too am thinking about your chocolate eggs in the kitchen!

Right im off to watch the Golf now with a can of Bods (Boddies) in a chill-out mood.

:-)

Martini - 09 Apr 2004 21:01 - 5172 of 23498

LW
Yep I think he may be what's the last time for a bet GD?

I am having a fun filled day of sport on the box and sorting the end of year tax. I am a good boy and get it all to the old accountant as soon after the tax year ends as I can.
He likes me as I am the first he gets and does not charge me a lot :)

little woman - 09 Apr 2004 21:06 - 5173 of 23498

11.00 am tommorrow is the deadline I think.

I've completed 3 tax returns on Tuesday, and sent them to clients to check & sign, and another on Thursday morning. I then spent the afternoon doing the breakdowns for my Capital Gains computations - which is why I'm taking things easy today.

little woman - 09 Apr 2004 21:10 - 5174 of 23498

I'm going to leave you now, as I want to watch "friends" - soon to be no more!

Have fun Martini, keep up the good work - I have to admit I also charge less to clients who get their paperwork in early. (There you go people - a tip on how to keep your accountant happy and your fees reasonable!)

Martini - 09 Apr 2004 21:12 - 5175 of 23498

LW thanks :)

Trying to work out CGT on share trading and I lose the will to live hence why I am Happy to pay my local accountant to do it for me. The endorsement of his name and hopefully no questions asked are worth every penny of his bill. :)
