Braemore Resources Uses Cutting Edge Technology (BRR)

oilyrag - 12 Feb 2008 10:39 - 521 of 810

If you look more closely, you will notice that most of the sale trades are AT's, automatic trades. I think that these are stop losses being deliberatly activated by SP being forced down. IMHO I think people should be buying, don't set any stop losses, sit and wait for a good profit, then sell. This way the only chance of mm's making money on this share would be by going to the market and buying them legit.

oilyrag; i agree and bought some myself this am, missed the low but almost impossible to know where that is,and i feel its close to bottom. You make your
decision and then patience,as the fundimentals have not altered.

Now they've had their wicked way, looks like sp returning up.

oilyrag - 12 Feb 2008 15:01 - 524 of 810

Obviously just filled their order as sp returns to start of day price.

Toya - 12 Feb 2008 20:08 - 525 of 810

I was going to comment on where the bottom might be, but can't access charts this evening. From memory I have a figure of around 12p in mind.

Have to say I was surprised to see this plummet as far as it did, especially as all seemed so positive at the start of the year. I got the feeling at the AGM that Hamish was quite bullish about BRR's relationship with BLT, but maybe BLT have been busy elsewhere - as their RIO bid must be taking up a lot of their time right now - and so have been unable to progress things as fast as had perhaps been hoped.

Read around and it appears news is close?

cynic - 12 Feb 2008 21:03 - 528 of 810

WHAT R U DOING HERE?
GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN!!!

Toya - 13 Feb 2008 07:13 - 529 of 810

Morning Cynic - I did, that's why I didn't see your comment till now! - Well, not exactly the kitchen...

cynic - 13 Feb 2008 07:17 - 530 of 810

don't tell me you were out in the garden baying at the moon again ..... you know you have been threatened with an ASBO for doing that only a couple of months ago

oilyrag - 13 Feb 2008 07:47 - 531 of 810

She's being seduced again. Lucky person.

cynic - 13 Feb 2008 07:51 - 532 of 810

hardy bloke if seducing in the garden in February!

oilyrag - 13 Feb 2008 08:23 - 533 of 810

Maybe, they were in the potting shed with a heater.

cynic - 13 Feb 2008 08:37 - 534 of 810

seemingly not .... have heard that the neighbours did indeed complain about T's howling ..... perhaps because "her man" had shrivelled - lol!

Toya - 13 Feb 2008 09:01 - 535 of 810

Hey you guys - didn't realise you were talking behind my back while I was enjoying breakfast. How did you know about my potting shed??

oilyrag - 13 Feb 2008 09:10 - 536 of 810

An educated guess due to the fact that you spend lots of time in the garden, and you wouldn't be seen dead in the kitchen.

Toya - 13 Feb 2008 09:15 - 537 of 810

Too right Oily - so glad someone on this planet understands me (though actually my friends tell me I'm a very good cook - but then they're all very polite!). Fantastic day today for the garden, and think I will just sit tight on my shares and spend time outside. Have lots of OXB currently, and still waiting to get back into BRR; could be any time now.

oilyrag - 14 Feb 2008 07:19 - 538 of 810

Morning Toya, are you back in yet, as I was talking to a mate last night who said, he believes the shorters are now closing their positions on BRR and moving onto MTA, Matra petrolium. If this is the case, then sp should rise unhindered. He also said that they will return to short this again because they can.

Toya - 14 Feb 2008 08:03 - 539 of 810

Morning Oily - thanks for thinking of me! No, I was out most of yesterday and so decided not to change anything. But it does look as though BRR is hovering around its low point so what you say makes sense. It looks positive this morning.

oilyrag - 14 Feb 2008 08:41 - 540 of 810

SP has smashed through 200DMA almost vertically.
