ASOS: BUY AT LOW PRICE!!!! (ASC)

wilco99 - 12 Sep 2003 15:52

ASOS have dropped quite significantly in the past week for no particular reason and I view this as the perfect opportunity to invest as I can see them bouncing right back up to the 5.50p mark in the next 2-3 weeks. STRONG BUY!!

Bus services in Barnsley and the Dearne Valley are being altered to match shift pattern changes at online retailer ASOS.

The company employs hundreds of people at its warehouse in Grimethorpe and bus operator Stagecoach has announced that, from September 28, new journeys and alterations to existing services will be made to accommodate shift changes at the clothing warehouse.

Changes include a new 7.59pm Wombwell to ASOS journey on Service 26 and X26 on weekdays. The 9.23pm Barnsley to Hemsworth Service 28A will be extended to South Elmsall, and the 11.08pm ASOS to Barnsley journey will start from South Elmsall at 10.30pm. A new Service 216 route from Brampton at 7.35pm will replace the previous 10.05pm service.

try reading the lex blog, though if your holdings are imaginary as most of us suspect, then it matters not anyway

Sunday Telegraph

Under-fire online fashion retailer Asos is facing growing concerns from its suppliers – some of Britain’s leading clothing brands – about the discounts it is offering on their products.
Asos relies heavily on selling products from a collection of fashion brands ........
some of the leading brands are frustrated with the discounts Asos has offered on their clothes, particularly in the run-up to Christmas last year, and have threatened to pull out.
One retail chief executive, who asked not to be named, said that Asos was “damaging their brand” and that Next’s new online and catalogue service, Label, was emerging as a viable alternative for disillusioned retailers ....... some retailers that sell through Asos in the UK have prevented the company from selling their products overseas.

still plenty of scope to short?

Things were looking sense until i saw this buzzing net about it. i see this is as shitty game going on including downgrades timing and fire at depot.
didnt wait for stop and out of spreads at the open 2031
Dirty tricks as fu...k .. but im sure a whale is feeding quietly here..

cynic - 22 Sep 2014 10:21 - 5475 of 5941

i don't; i think your rose-tinted specs are more than a little fogged

you should also take good account of alibaba which i think is likely to become a serious competitor for "your" customers, and that's leaving aside Next which is on the doorstep

Shortie - 22 Sep 2014 10:21 - 5476 of 5941

Oh well, that's another loss then Tomasz.. I'm surprised that for someone like you who's constantly watching this stock you choose to do the opposite of what the markets doing..

tomasz - 22 Sep 2014 10:53 - 5477 of 5941

Lol ,
well , im not suprised at all. I like to be close to the bone and im cheap.Only then can be made lot of money.not getting into much details but this is the same approach as was with 67% up on whole acc just last dec-jan, or just recent boo up 12..
I lost 2.3% now...bit more as i planned but its ok with me i can afford it...
ill punch it again sooner or later...:-)

tomasz - 22 Sep 2014 11:03 - 5478 of 5941

And for cynic's diagorea.. dont give me next, next is good but pretty different fashion and idea , and alibaba only in your head just because surfaced recently due to ipo so , lot of loud speculative articles that you read available for wanna be experts..
Media manipulation is mother of many kinds..
