I had a knack of winding people up in a previous incarnation by giving my opinion, more often than not correct. For those clever enough to read this white board post and remember the fun and games I used to get up to whilst relieving the boredom. Seem to recall he was also the first to post "announcements" at the top of threads - something you can still do on the other side.

Kayak, good humour and piss taking I can certainly take, but insults I cannot. I am a completely changed person over the last few years, since some ill health and a change in attitude I'm much more mellow than I ever was.

Perhaps you're right, I was certainly a trendsetter in my day, I was probably the first to really throw up general html use on these BBs, definitely the first to link live charts and pictures to BBs, probably the first to use other people's IDs to post up some funny posts without malice, unlike what I was accused of. I was the first to show a sense of humour on the financial BBs (LOL) . Was also the first to link up announcements above thread titles as Gausie says. Maybe I should put together a CV for it all, hahahaha a sort of Reggie Perrin of the BBs.

I have to say that I never used a few tricks that I knew, they were malicious and would certainly not have made any friends. (posts to crash people's pc, black holes, screaming bombs, expanding windows and such like) things I learned in the mid 90s when chatting back then on sites such as The Globe (anyone remember that ?)

So I will once again take a back seat in life as I don't think I can contribute any positive any more, so as I said, ciao

Hey! I'm nearly 65 years old now. And probably only got a few years left. I'm not in really great fettle but I do like to come on here. Bit of a hobby really. I like solving some of the puzzles which are about the place from time to time.
