Jariise - 05 Feb 2005 08:23 - 45 of 70

Hi bolarinde
lloyds are a good safe share that has a good dividend but your entering the market when prices have been rising for about six months i personally would not get in to lloyds now as the price is high but then again i was in o2 at 84p and told someone not to get into them at 1.05 now look at them .Vod looks strong at the moment i would hope it reaches 1.60/1.70 by october MTO Mitie is another good one there doing great and are snowed under with work i have a target of 2.00 by the end of year

Jariise - 05 Feb 2005 08:23 - 46 of 70

Riise good luck with it,good result today against fulham.

optomistic - 05 Feb 2005 21:42 - 48 of 70

bolarinde, do have a good look around and make your own considered decissions. Be careful not to be swayed by some posts that give such a glowing report of a company that it seems it must be a sure fire winner, oftimes it is not the case, take care.

Does anyone have a firm date for the dividend as I note last year was the 17 Mar but the year before 26 Feb?

Thanks

wilko - 15 Feb 2005 23:30 - 53 of 70

daves dazzlers - 25 Feb 2005 18:51 - 54 of 70

Sold today ,its been a nice little earner this one.

brianboru - 04 Mar 2005 07:19 - 55 of 70

EPS more or less as expected

Earnings per share increased by 12 per cent to 41.8p.

or

Earnings per share decreased by 26 per cent to 43.3p.

take your pick!

Dividend maintained. Final dividend of 23.5p per share, making
a total of 34.2p for the year (2003: 34.2p)

The bad debt provisions charge increased by 79 million, or 13 per cent,

Pre-tax profit from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) increased to
8 million, compared with 1 million in 2003

SW contributed 200 m in second half

No idea what the market will concentrate on!

daves dazzlers - 05 Sep 2005 08:26 - 56 of 70

SP still on the rise, wells fargo cant see it myself.

TANKER - 05 Sep 2005 10:25 - 57 of 70

yes i have made 30000 out of this shatre over the last 2 years.

brianboru - 05 Sep 2005 12:39 - 58 of 70

The rise is probably a rerating due to the recent tie in with Citigroup rather than any takeover bid.

TANKER - 05 Oct 2005 11:18 - 59 of 70

div day today. 4280 lovely.

Bluedolphin - 05 Oct 2005 14:43 - 60 of 70
