RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

?????????????????? :-((((((( !!!!! D. :0(

Palwing - 21 Jan 2004 09:28 - 582 of 2406

Buy on rumour...sell on fact. Price usually drops after results announced in my experience...unless its QXL of course. DAMN..blinkin missed that one!!!

Onwards and upwards?? Lets hope so...

GRAEME.ALEXANDER - 21 Jan 2004 09:33 - 583 of 2406

May be the MM having a tree shake to get stock because they know its going up again.....I hope Graeme.

washlander - 21 Jan 2004 09:36 - 584 of 2406

It does look like that as the trend is now upwards

apple - 21 Jan 2004 10:19 - 585 of 2406

If it drops to 15p then I will see it as another buying opportunity, I want some more of these.

I originally got in just under 10p but just wish that I had bought more at the time.

little willie - 21 Jan 2004 10:33 - 586 of 2406

Graeme.Alexander....couldn't be a chap I once knew, connections in Gloucester??

wash..I believe that the upward trend will continue, today is a negative day generally.
I have around 100-130 stocks in different portfolios; old stock sold, new ones to watch, established trend setters plus my own 16 current stock portfolio and todays broader picture is RED.
Bound to have blips but imho stay with it and rewards will come...

apple - personally i dont think it will get down to 15p as there is support about 16 - 16.25p.
i bought some moe at 17p and glad i did. ofcourse i am not sure but i feel this is MM's playing around and the share will after a little rest head upwards again.
i am looking forward to a bigger profit this time round.

washlander - 21 Jan 2004 10:42 - 588 of 2406

Little Willie. I peg you as being right. But I also think looking at both level one and two that the money makers and day traders are playing a much larger part then they were two weeks ago. I also see this stock moving up. I just wish I had bought some more on its day low. Shouda, coulda woulda lol

little willie - 21 Jan 2004 15:57 - 589 of 2406

Wishie washie...lol...re my earlier message of am today, bad call by me, 90% of my active portfolio in blue for the day leaving just RTD in red, think -1p excessive and it should bounce back by end of week. Short termers and day boys being the threat...c'est la vie...

washlander - 22 Jan 2004 10:02 - 590 of 2406

Morning all. Just got up working late again. Off to London in just over an hour and a half. Oh if only I could be like little willie and retire to a place in the sun. Ahhhhhh

scotinvestor - 22 Jan 2004 20:23 - 591 of 2406

good to see RTD having a steady week really after last weeks surge. Shouldnt have to wait too long before it gets to 20p. This will rise to 40p at least sometime this year.

Tokyo - 23 Jan 2004 10:33 - 592 of 2406

Have been noticing many comments on this board, now reaching for the 40 pence mark, I agree we could be looking at around 28 pence in March, but then I would expect a drop as many small traders, such as myself will probably be getting out. Although looking at this board, is it really worth staying in, or atleast buying back in? Anyone with any advice for a small trader?

javidshaik - 23 Jan 2004 10:56 - 593 of 2406

scotinvestor,

how do you get 40p? is this a hunch or do you know something we dont?

i see a big resistance between 28-30p so am curious as to what you have based 40p on.

beaufort1 - 23 Jan 2004 15:40 - 594 of 2406

RTD has just ticked up another 7% to 18.5p at the end of the day.

washlander - 23 Jan 2004 16:33 - 595 of 2406

It is nice to see my top up buys yesterday have been rewarded. Keep the faith.
Have a good weekend all.

apple - 23 Jan 2004 16:52 - 596 of 2406

Sold, I think it will be a while before we go through 20p.

Bought VTB, up 9.5% already.

I'll be back in RTD when I have got more cash.

javidshaik - 23 Jan 2004 17:27 - 597 of 2406

apple - what did you sell at?
also can i ask why you sold please?

scotinvestor - 23 Jan 2004 20:25 - 598 of 2406

as i said in last message, its been a decent week considering for RTD. However todays rise to 18.5p was unexpected. Didnt expect such a large rise.

Did everyone see NSB retail rise today - aolmost 33%.
RTD will be even better than there results too. So how much better will RTD rise be? This share is really going to take off in next 2 months. Especially if they announce some contracts which they must have got since last summer.
40p? I might be revising that up to 50p and more soon. IMHO

javidshaik - 26 Jan 2004 08:30 - 599 of 2406

good mornin' all. lets hope we have a few more rises during the week.
anyone here sold or contemplating buying retail decisions - it's not too late!
