Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Corbyn at least has some convictions, the other three wouldn't be able to spell the word much less know what it means.

Just goes to show what a lucky escape we had in May. Goodness knows what state the country would be in had this motley crew been successful, fortunately they are in the process of self destruction.
Of course this could all be a ploy.... have these 4 numpties scrabble about looking totally inept......and bang in comes someone electable to the rescue...... David Miliband

can't stand the guy, but he actually talks sense as below .....
LONDON (Reuters) - Tony Blair, the Labour Party's most successful election winner, told his party on Wednesday that it could not win power in Britain by lurching to the left.
"You win from the centre, you win when you appeal to a broad cross section of the public, you win when you support business as well as unions, you don’t win from a traditional leftist platform"
"I wouldn’t want to win on an old fashioned leftist platform ... even if I thought it was the route to victory, I wouldn’t take it," said Blair.
"Move on but don’t for heaven’s sake move back. If we do then the public won’t vote for us ... because our thoughts are out of touch with the world they live in today."

Beware!
http://news.sky.com/story/1523331/major-san-francisco-quake-expected-any-day-now
A major earthquake could hit the San Francisco Bay Area "any day now", according to a scientist from the US Geological Survey (USGS).
The Hayward fault, less well known than California's famous San Andreas fault, caused a minor 4.0-magnitude tremor on Tuesday.
There was no major damage when it hit the border of Fremont and Union City, but Tom Brocher from the USGS said the fault is a ticking time bomb.
"We keep a close eye on the Hayward fault because it does sit in the heart of the Bay Area and when we do get a big earthquake on it, it's going to have a big impact on the entire Bay Area," Mr Brocher told CBS San Francisco.
"The past five major earthquakes on the fault have been about 140 years apart, and now we're 147 years from that 1868 earthquake, so we definitely feel that could happen any time."

Agreed.
Now I don't agree with people getting a summons and then ignoring it, and then going on even further to ignore the then forced attendance at court after the 'alleged offence' situation has escalated...
BUT THIS STUFF MAKES MY BLOOOD BOIL:
Hefty fines dished out to people who left out bin bags beside wheelie bins in Northampton
Northampton Magistrates Court NNL-150303-120601001
Paul Lynch

Wednesday 22 July 2015
Fines of up to £500 have been handed out to four people in Northampton for putting out black bin bags alongside their wheelie bins for collection.
Aaron Aucott, Stacey Brittain and Daniel Simpson, of Great Meadow in Blackthorn and Richard Wallter, of Booth Meadow Court, Thorplands, were summoned to attend Northampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday for failing to comply with household waste collection rules under the Environmental Protection Act.
They were called to court as a result of leaving out rubbish alongside their wheelie bins on a collection day, despite previously receiving a “section 46” warning from the council stating they would be prosecuted for doing so.
Each then did not pay the resulting £80 fine.
Aucott, who represented himself in court to plead guilty to the offence, received total fines of £270, despite only leaving out a single sack of rubbish on February 25 this year, which council wardens spotted on an inspection of the Thorplands area.
Sentencing him, presiding magistrate Peter Riley, said: “You were offered an £80 fine, which would have been reduced to £50 if paid within 10 days.
“But you declined to pay it, which is why you are here.”
In all the cases correspondence found within the rubbish sacks could be traced back to the offenders.
Aucott entered no mitigation in court yesterday.
Brittain, Simpson and Walter were found guilty in their absence and handed out total fines of £570, which included court costs of £400.

I recycle absolutely nothing at all. It all goes in the same sacks and bins. I also do not put any correspondence in with the rubbish. If the council wants to recycle then it is up to them. If they want to separate bottles, cardboard etc from other waste then they can do that as well. As far as I am concerned it is all what we pay rates for.

Hays,
When you put your waste out, stand by it until collection time.
You never know your household might be lucky!

hays - in that case you're a slob! ..... you deserve to be fined ....
it takes minimal effort to put the right stuff in the right bin, and it's actually for a very good reason - always assuming the stuff is actually recycled and not just sent to landfill
