Please report bugs and enhancements (BUGS)

andy.lovell - 04 Nov 2002 11:26

If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!

Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.

The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.

This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)

If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

very off and on.

Toya - 20 Sep 2007 09:01 - 6362 of 7315

Hi again - agree with Chea above: Level 2 keeps going off.

Your website used to be absolutely brilliant, but in the past few days it's become sadly unreliable. I do hope you can get to the root of what's caused this.

No need to reply - I do know what it's like to be on the receiving end when technology refuses to play along! Although it's very frustrating to us users, I do also sympathise as I'm sure you're doing all you can to resolve things.

Toya,

An update - the problems over the past few days with percentage change and change prices being incorrect at times should not happen again - this was due to a problem we had, which required the maintenance over the past few nights.

With regard to teh service temporarily unavailables that have been appearing, we are working on a theory on that, which we hope will resolve as soon as possible.

We appreciate your understanding and apologise for the inconvenience,

Ian

On the home page, in the indices box the FTSE change figures are incorrect, though the current FTSE value figure are correct.

HArry,

Apologies this is one of the hang overs from the recent issues we have had - we are looking into this,

Just thought I'd call attention to this graph which looks a bit odd:

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=NRK&Si

Data cleaning issue, due to recent ups and downs, perhaps?

C,

Spike in the data - being removed now should be back to normal in a minute or 2,

Market Scan % Losers a tad inaccurate perhaps ;-)

LAST Post - is 1 day out - just got Wednesdays

greekman - 20 Sep 2007 18:33 - 6376 of 7315

My stockwatch is at total odds with my portfolio again, so I have no idea which is correct. I will have to check correct prices with another site.
The closing prices are the same, but the days sp is showing up on one and down on the other. The percentages are also totally different.
I do appreciate that there will always be problems with IT and I know Ian and others are probably working their buts off to fix things, BUT as this appears to be a Moneyam suppliers mess up if it is not fixed soon they should be asking their supplier for compensation before they start loosing customers.
I left another site because of continuing problems over a period of (hard to believe but 2 months plus) so there is still some way to go yet.

Ian

Thanks

Andrew

IanT(MoneyAM) - 21 Sep 2007 07:00 - 6378 of 7315

qwento/greekman, these 2 issues are related to the problems we have had these should resolve themselves with tonights close.

greekman - the stockwatch prices are correct. Due to some wrong close prices the protfolio changes have been out, but will be rectified.

Sue, it could well have been held up somewhere between you and us, we will take a look into things this end - let me know if this happens again.
