Bunny's Beer Basement (BEER)

stockbunny - 30 Dec 2008 08:02

OK temporary accomodation for us ex-pats of Spacie's coffee house that is sadly now boarded up and in memory of Goldie's old pad the tearooms.

No fancy stuff, as this is temporary until we find a nice new place but it's warm down here with the fire and aga and I've organised a daily guinness, lager and wine delivery. There is a small kitchen in the corner and a few comfy cosy armchairs.

So feel free to take refuge when you need a break - self-service generally I'm afraid but when I can I'll rustle up a meal :>)

kimoldfield - 24 Feb 2009 09:25 - 690 of 4886

Although I would volunteer if we could call the job "pancake constructor".

stockbunny - 24 Feb 2009 09:30 - 691 of 4886

Excellent :>)))) Mine with lemon and caster sugar please :>))))

skinny - 24 Feb 2009 10:09 - 694 of 4886

Kim - the perfect recipe in full is: 100 - [10L - 7F + C(k - C) + T(m - T)]/(S - E) with the closer you get to a 100 - the better the pancake.

Yum Yum!

kimoldfield - 24 Feb 2009 10:11 - 695 of 4886

Ok Bunny, I'll just have a little practice. Ok, here we are then, flour, eggs, milk, butter, oil, frying pan: (Sift, sift, crack, splosh, pour, mix, whisk, whisk) OK, a little bit of oil in the pan, butter, pancake mix (pour) (swirl) here we go (Tos......er, flip!) Wheyhey! Oh........ now where did that go? Bunny, have you see............oh! love the new hat Bunny! Where dyou get it?

chocolat - 24 Feb 2009 10:12 - 696 of 4886

kimoldfield - 24 Feb 2009 10:17 - 697 of 4886

Looks like it's 1 - 0 at the mo. Here we go again, using Dr Fairclough's theory. (Flip) Aha, um, where the he.. Chocs have you seen a..... whoa, fashion disaster there girl, Bunny's already got a hat like yours!

1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the topping:
4-6 rashers of dry-cured bacon
knob of butter
1 tbsp vegetable oil
4 heaped tbsp grated mature cheddar
