How would you like to trade a market where you get large regular price swings every 10 minutes in the afternoon, seven days a week. A
market where all prices are set purely by supply and demand, few transaction costs, no middle men and you only pay commission if you win? Where you can freely act as a market maker and where you have direct market access and where you can create a spread for others to take?
Betfair has revolutionised the betting market and created an open platform for exchanging risk on sports events. This market is now viewed much more like a traditional financial risk market than an old fashioned betting market. Smart users have realised that there are huge opportunities on Betfair because they can buy and sell risk in much the same way they would in a normal financial market but without the burden of cost or the restricted access that is usually associated with traditional financial markets.

Scrip, i'm on the basic at the mo, till i get me head round things, the video explains it very well thanks. It also answered another question for me in that what happened if you where on more than 1 horse when greening up.
Have you done one for the Pro version?
It must be easier if i'd had betting experience before i started, but will get there, just takes longer to sink in these days.

I'm working on a load of new material for pro at the moment. I'm redoing the entire set of videos over Christmas when I intend to do no trading at all!
On pro you can green up as little or as much as you like on each horse, you have manual control over the greening. Pro is a significantly advanced product now.

More help for Cloudbase and anyone else who doesn't know about it! I find livescore.com fantastic for following the scores in a wide range of football matches all over the world - on the one screen too. Updates are about every 2 minutes and goal times & scorer, yellow/red cards are shown as well.

And for horse racing I find gg.com very useful. Very quick to show results and surprisingly quick to give detailed results - all SPs, distances, times, etc.
Their 'Cards' give all the basic info the RP gives and it avoids the pain of having to log into RP each time you visit (unless you keep the contact 'open').

schiff ... I use at least two , you would be suprised how often one credits a goal to the wrong team !
xscores.com and goals365.com are two others to consider.
Also the minutes played can vary from site to site.

Steve...Nice bit of trading as I greened up at the same odds too.
Even though Bell dropped it, in retropect, it has worked out nicely for you.
I've called it a day on the cricket and just enjoying the final moments.
Profited handsomely from the whole series (tests and 1 dayers) and will miss it once over!
