THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Dilma Rousseff finally impeached. Good riddance to another socialist who thought she could spend regardless of the country's ability to pay. Despite the fact that she was running Petrobras at the time of the worst thieving from the company, I don't think she was herself corrupt, just very stupid. Her bad portuguese was notorious as well as her lack of common sense. Lula had her elected, assuming she would be his pupil and puppet. But like most women, she thought she knew better.. :). The economic conditions during her presidency were far different than the commodities boom enjoyed in the Lula era.

What do you do when you are invaded by immoral foreign herds? There is no point in talking to them, they have no heed of local customs:
Haryana's animal husbandry and dairy minister Om Prakash Dhankar, questioned "the moral character of foreign bulls' says a report in the Times of India. Stretching the statement, he said, "Jaisa wahan ke kai mulko mein character hai, waisa he inka character hai (these bulls have the same character as that of the people in the countries they come from)."
In his words, "foreign bulls are more aggressive, they violate more animals, including buffaloes, because they don't have the character similar to local bulls."

Either deport them, lock up your bullocks or cut of their bollox I say...

The red spot storm on Jupiter could be a massive volcano permanently erupting from a deep solid core; influencing high winds and enormous gravitational pull is distorting the colouring on the surface of the planet.

Don't you just love it when I go into boffin mode ?......when do I get my nobel ?.....I'll take it with metallised paint, alloy wheels and all ops...thank you....

iturama - 03 Sep 2016 11:59 - 73294 of 81564

If the core was solid, it wouldn't be erupting RF. That Nobel will have to wait until next time. Sorry. :)

required field - 04 Sep 2016 11:23 - 73295 of 81564

Not that solid I meant....could be hot gas under extreme pressure iturama....I'm very openminded about this....nobel now back on track...yeahhhh.....

Fred1new - 04 Sep 2016 11:37 - 73296 of 81564

Sounds like the Con or UKIP party.

Hot air and bluster.

Nobody knows what is going on beneath the surface.

8-)

iturama - 04 Sep 2016 12:16 - 73297 of 81564

RF, goes against the physics but no matter. Obama got a Nobel on false pretences and refused to return it, so there is hope for us all.

required field - 04 Sep 2016 17:09 - 73298 of 81564

My lords...ladies..gentlemen....oh there you are...just preparing my acceptance speech...must be prepared.....euuhhh you mean iturama that it is in fact a giant bathtub ?....where the sulphur in the atmosphere is reacting to sunlight at certain stages with gas sinking to lower levels in the clouds only to reappear later and this changes due to the magnetic poles variation ?.....well possibly....

Here's an interesting quiz for you:

Can We Guess Your Highest Education Level?

Dil - 05 Sep 2016 14:50 - 73300 of 81564
