Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

skids - 23 Dec 2003 16:43 - 721 of 3104

By March it'll be a different story all, right now 3.51p is the average price IMHO, but I'm pretty confident that January will bring some new contracts and 4/5p will be the new price.

blakester - 23 Dec 2003 17:09 - 722 of 3104

Just over 8.3% rise today, not back to profit yet but heading in the right direction! Does anyone think the MM's have now let all on board (who want to come on board) and are prepared to let CYH fly?

skids - 23 Dec 2003 23:18 - 723 of 3104

I doubt they will have a choice once the contract wins are announced/finalised.

Nitefly - 24 Dec 2003 01:14 - 724 of 3104

It all depends on whether they are still making money. As long a people continue to buy high and sell low, then why would they change the price?

If business is going well (...and it is) and investors feel confident (...as they do) then the price should go up, if only it were that simple. Instead, the MM's manipulate the market and hold companies back for reasons best known to themselves. I notice some companies making huge and even greater loses, yet the price increases. It just confuses me even more, when this happens;)

Lets hope for some new contracts in the new year?

skids - 24 Dec 2003 08:57 - 725 of 3104

If Cybits market increases through contract wins, then the value of the company will increase and the price will rise.

skids - 24 Dec 2003 08:59 - 726 of 3104

Right now the current contract wins value (for the next 12mths) are not over the last interim figures - so in order to grow they need more contracts.

Douggie - 24 Dec 2003 12:46 - 727 of 3104

Nice close today unexpected 5% up, hope last min. 1mln sell dont spook it wonder if it was Scrooge.

Still Waiting - 24 Dec 2003 14:02 - 728 of 3104

Well the inverted H&S seems to be forming nicely.

News in the New Year will attract the pundits especially if also receive a few recommendations for Share of the Year 2004 from a number of papers.

2004 will be the year of Telematics IMHO.

Av. now 1.4p

Morning everyone - the following news should be positive for Cybit following their partnership agreement with Lex in October?

LONDON (AFX) - RAC PLC said its contract hire business, Lex Vehicle Leasing, a joint venture with HBOS PLC, has been awarded a 7-year contract with anticipated revenues of 1 bln stg to provide outsourced contract hire services to Business Partner, the contract hire arm of Ford Financial.

Under the new contract, Lex will provide contract hire infrastructure services to the Ford family of brands. All sales and marketing activities will continue to be owned by Ford Financial and marketed as Business Partner.

RAC said Lex will fund and manage the existing fleet of approximately 20,000 vehicles.

Jon Walden, a director of RAC and Lex Vehicle Leasing's managing director, said: 'This is the largest ever contract won by Lex Vehicle Leasing, which builds on our industry-leading systems and customer service. Working together with Ford Financial we expect to grow the business substantially and we also believe this will prove an attractive model for other partner organisations.'

He said Lex Vehicle Leasing has this year become the first contract hire company to achieve a fleet of 100,000 vehicles purely through organic growth.

Some nice buys. . . not mine either!

Douggie - 30 Dec 2003 14:01 - 731 of 3104

nor mine.... :-(( .... cmon lets have 4p for new year :-)))

beaufort1 - 30 Dec 2003 14:21 - 732 of 3104

Up 6.7% today as the market digests the implications for CYH of Lex's big contract win with Ford announced yesterday.

skids - 30 Dec 2003 15:22 - 733 of 3104

I think this may be the start of the upward trend. Cybit have a bright mid/long term future, and the recent Lex news will only add value to CYH. A hidden gem. This one could really rocket with new contract wins. 4/4.5p is on the horizon in the short term, behond that who knows....

Still Waiting - 30 Dec 2003 15:26 - 734 of 3104

Yep, portfolio is still bulging with these and will continue to add as funds allow.

Once the RAC/Lex/Ford and MOD and BAE contract wins sink in, there will be no looking back.

A must have HOLD through 2004 as the telematics revolution rolls out..

skids - 30 Dec 2003 16:18 - 735 of 3104

With so mauch potential I think the question is "how far can Cybit go in 2004", personally I have no ideal, but 8p/10p doesn't look unreasonable by Sept. Anyone care to make a guess/prediction?

Douggie - 30 Dec 2003 17:44 - 736 of 3104

with further 2 x 500000 trades gone through at 17.17hrs maybe another 0.2p tomorrow. xfinger :-)) D.

Still Waiting - 30 Dec 2003 21:21 - 737 of 3104

If you're looking for another share to research and monitor for 2004 try looking at VTB, now at b/even and is the market leader in webcasts to multinational co's, ridiculously low market cap.

Brewins have just issued a buy recommendation at 6.38p, still only 5.75p to buy but you need to be quick, large mm trades going through and after hours trades over ask..

Stop ramping Still Waiting and you are in the wrong thread!!

Still Waiting - 31 Dec 2003 13:34 - 739 of 3104

Not ramping, just suggesting a share to do further research on.

I place a lot of shares on my monitor/ watchlist from other peoples suggestions.

A lot get removed a few weeks down the line.

Still Confident that CYH will come up trumps in 2004..

Happy New Year..
