Could be some wild swings then if the weather dodgy, still got the draw lay which i need to trade out, but only small, so no wory

Just laid the draw for a lump at 1.6

Ponting/Hussey look well set but they are also scoring very quickly, which will keep the draw price propped up to a degree while wickets will see it drift

Looks like back Aus was the trade, come in a long way.

Yep, but risky, an early wicket would have seen the price disappear out

Draw lay looks almost risk free assuming the weather holds, even without wickets it seems not to want to fall below 1.55

the free trades are invariably laying the draw - the market is making it quite clear here that runs arent going to shorten the price, a wicket will lengthen it so only a stagnant period of blocking (Symonds/Gilchrist next 2 in!) or the dreaded weather the dangers (rain being the biggest one). That said the longer the partnership goes on then the less impact a wicket will have when it finally comes

the slowing in the run rate saw the price collapse - a lot of layers bailing out i think. Current avge lay is at approx 1.46 so not overly concerned at the moment - were not halfway through the test yet

Hi Fundy. Yes it did collapse fairly quickly, avge here 1.74 and as you say plenty of time left yet

the 2 lbws are shocking, though couldnt really expect Ponting to be given out on 96 in his 100th test - just wouldnt have been cricket!!!
