evening jj.
if it was real money jeffmack i wouldn't be betting at all.

jj50 - 14 Jun 2004 21:46 - 7566 of 23498

evening snoball - you are not the only one who would hesitate to bet using real money - why throw it away on horses when you can when you can spend it on shares and watch them go down the drain just as quickly!! Mind you, Ascot on a blazing hot day is a pretty good place to be......

Golddog - 14 Jun 2004 21:49 - 7567 of 23498

Iain, I was just sipping a cup of tea when i read your post about shagging over footie and now my monitor is covered in tea! Thanks! :-) If i had someone to mount i would of choose that option too!

snoball, like jeffmack says the gee gee game is over the whole week are you sure you want to bet your entire pot on the first day? or is it a dead cert? remember i am not giving any more funds for this session.

jeffmack - 14 Jun 2004 21:53 - 7568 of 23498

STORMCALLER - 14 Jun 2004 23:34 - 7576 of 23498

Evening all,
Achieved a new landmark today, had three of the top 50 percentage fallers, unprecedented even by my normal standards, did blot copy-book a bit with one top 50 gainer but even so a remarkable achievement. Such a good day I don't think I could even tip my hat, so I'll keep it on.
Would one of you kind souls please take pity and pour me a guinness? I think I'd spill it if I tried!
SC

Golddog - 14 Jun 2004 23:37 - 7577 of 23498

poochy jumps up from his basket and leaps behind the bar to pour the wiery traveller a guinness (plus leaf).

Hello my friend, would you require the menu this evening?

STORMCALLER - 14 Jun 2004 23:40 - 7578 of 23498

What a remarkable return, I see the old mind reading skills have been finely honed during the recent sojourn, that would be most welcome.

Golddog - 14 Jun 2004 23:43 - 7579 of 23498

may i recommend the roast prawns with salad and fries.

STORMCALLER - 14 Jun 2004 23:48 - 7580 of 23498

Given the circumstances, I think taking someone else's recommendation would be just the ticket, that sounds delicious, washed down perhaps with a chilled chablis? Care for a snifter yourself, I still have some of that whisky?
By the way, don't recall thanking you for the excellent hospitality shown to me by your staff while you were absent.
