Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).
Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.
cheers GF.

Momentum sweeps to victory in Labour's NEC elections as Jon Lansman wins by 'Lanslide' margin
Jeremy Corbyn’s left-wing allies seized control of Labour’s party machine today in a clean sweep of elections to the National Executive.
The results opened the door for the Left to deselect centrist MPs and carry out a purge of party officials who have stood in their leader’s way.
A slate of candidates fronted by Mr Corbyn’s veteran Marxist ally Jon Lansman, the chairman of grassroots campaign group Momentum, won three seats on the committee by landslide margins. The comedian Eddie Izzard, often touted as a future Mayor of London candidate, was pushed into fourth place, dousing hopes that his stardust could rescue the centre-ground. The results seal the Left’s long-planned takeover of the party. Mr Lansman boasted on Twitter that it was a “LANSlide”.

Power to the people MaxK - only question is which deranged people would support the Marxist Left Labour Party in a General Election? TM will get a big majority when she calls another election in about 12/15 months time.

Do you mean that the public is celebrating the present neo-con tory government of T Maybe in this country, which is financed and manipulated by individuals from the Cayman Isles and similar exotic tax-havens?
Perhaps, you have been reading the Mail too often.

And you Fred1 must be in the pockets of the Russian Mafia on that basis imo. While I would dearly love to see a huge change in the way wealth and power, (through the legitimized legal powerhouse), rule with puppets like the Royal Family putting pen to paper,to keep the system in place, along with those that suck up to them to obtain gongs of one sort or another, I can see nothing worse than living under a Chinese type of leadership or that of a religious dictatorship.

Try and find your glasses.

This could change the NEC. McCluskey facing enquiry over his election. If he loses the seats that the union controls could go back to centrists.

De selecting centre MP's could back fire big time on Corby and co.
Go look what happened in Blaenau Gwent under Blair when he imposed someone on the local party which at the time was the safest Labour seat in the UK.
The centre don't need to run off and start a new party , these loonies will get what's coming to them sooner rather than later.

Our local Labour MP had headline that he made peace with Corbyn today , obviously it was that or get deselected i suppose , whether the electorate realise what's going on i don't know , only an election can answer that .

Somewhere in the back of my mind I recall that last week they got rid of an MP for spilling the beans on what Labour are proposing to do to the council tax, ie a massive increase.

They will realise at a local level if their popular centrist MP gets deselected in favour of a left wing muppet imposed on them by Labour HQ if the deselected candidate decides to stand as an independent.
Many / most of the local party would back the independent as happened in Blaenau Gwent where the independent won by a landslide.

Re Len McCluskey, what is notable is that he was elected by only about 5.5% of those entitled to vote. So much for democracy in the union world. Something wrong, apathy or only chase up your supporters to vote?

Does Fred1 invest or just post on the site, as one could hardly reconcile making money from the working classes and using it to support the Labour Grand Masters.
