Pondy ..... glad to see you charting Dow, though i do not know how to read it! .... i assume blue thingybobs are downwards movements and black the reverse, or have i even got that arse-about-face? .... anyway, is your reading of that particular chart that it is still quite firmly up-bound, having just withstood pretty well an indisputably turbulent week?

cynic, it seems to be, but most other pundits are calling for a correction that is occurring now.

I have been following a particular expert, Tom Houguard, and though I thought he had it wrong he has been right in the end with his predictions.

I am a little wary of any LTBH since the 17th November, but that's not stopped me making a bit of pocket money.

SWW .... many thanks for your post ..... of course a correction should not be confused with a change of sentiment ...... friday was interesting in that Dow briefly dipped below 12100, but then rallied strongly to finish at around 12200, indicating to my mind, that the trend is still firmly north .... FTSE similarly bounced off its support levels

You are welcome, I am getting into charting too now.

Knowledge is still art a basic level but improving.

That's why I went looking for, and found Tom.

I was told by a friend who is in investment banking, to keep an eye on his interpretations of the charts.
