The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Dear All, I have been reading the messages with anticipated excitement of an RNS and am quite new to the share buying game. That said, I did my own research as Chrissie said and bought 1M shares over the last 2 months at an average of 3.03. A rash thing to do, maybe, i wish I had got in last April, however everything seems to point to a real winner for 2004 as long as you can sit back and enjoy the ride and don't have to cash in to pay the bills over the next 6 weeks. All Cybit's partners are profiting from new contracts and increasing share prices and am sure this will start to reflect in Cybit's price over the coming weeks. They are a growing talent in a relatively niche industry and with a strengthening management team they will succeed. Chrissie, comes across as a genuine player who has substance to her postings, although they do lack clarity. That said, she seems to have good reason for this and I'm happy to sit on my 1M shares and won't be selling when they hit 5p, whenever that is. The reason why,I would be worried about punting them and then finding I'm having to buy back on an increasing spike. I'm a novice at charting but trying to learn fast and don't want to get caught short. I've sent myself a target of 20p and will wait the year out if I have to and as long as the contract news starts to roll, then whose to say we won't get there.

Totally understand Chrissie, thx for replying. To all other holders I may not have specific info but I have done a lot of research into cybit as I'm sure many of you have and if it reassures anyone, I have not yet discovered a better share to invest in for the medium to long term (3 months + ).

I also think this will be a good week for us. I am hedgeing my bets for an RNS tomorrow morning. None of us on this thread are children. We are all adults with mortgages, rents, overdrafts, credit cards, loans and a million other bills to pay. Every bit of knowledge gained about Cybit helps us all to sleep easier at night. All I'm saying to you is that for some of us life is real. If you know anything either help us or shut up.

Experts all set to show benefit of getting online




LEADING experts in all aspects of electronic fleet management are to host a major national conference aimed at fleet decision-makers on January 28.
The event, hosted by Fleet News and FleetNewsNet, will cover every aspect of operating a fleet online, from the very first steps to introducing new systems in specific areas, such as vehicle acquisition, rental purchasing, fuel management, vehicle management, maintenance control and disposals.

Under the guidance of event chairman Tony Leigh, Manage Your Fleet Online, being held at the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon, Warwickshire, will also offer advice in the security issues fleets need to consider when using online services.

The event follows the results of one of the largest surveys in the fleet industry which revealed that nearly 50% of fleets say they plan to do more work over the internet, or by email.

Other popular initiatives fleets are planning include finding more effective ways to tackle risk and introducing or running driver training courses, with 36% of fleets saying they plan to do so.

In a warning to suppliers that they must fight to keep their customers, 34% of fleets said they were planning to change a supplier to cut costs, while 21% said they were going to change their suppliers to improve service levels.

More than a third said they were planning to change their fleet policies to include cars with lower emissions, while 17% plan to introduce some form of cash-for-car scheme.

Nearly 10% plan to introduce telematics systems to monitor their fleets, while the same number plan to assess supply of servicing and delivery following changes to the Block Exemption regulations.

Scrapping pool cars in favour of short-term rental is an initiative supported by 7% of fleets, while 6.6% plan to introduce a green travel plan.

But despite the initiatives they are planning to introduce and the issues they face in the next year, just 6% of fleet decision-makers say they plan to undergo professional fleet management training.

The two initiatives that received the least interest were moving drivers back into company cars from cash-for-car schemes (5.5%) and outsourcing fleet management (4.9%).

Event director Chris Lester said: 'The Manage Your Fleet Online conference will show how leaders in the fleet industry are preparing to maximise the potential of this fantastic technology and to treat the internet as a powerful business tool.

Top speakers will point the way for delegates

LEADING figures from throughout the fleet industry are already confirmed as speakers at Manage Your Fleet Online.

Well-known fleet consultant Tony Leigh, who is also chairman of the Association of Car Fleet Operators, will be chairman at the event.

John Maslen, editor of Fleet News will reveal exclusive research carried out into the current and future use of online services among Britain's fleets.

Bob Blackman, of industry expert Emmerson Hill, will provide a checklist of key issues that need to be considered before fleets move towards introducing online services.

In a series of presentations on use of online services for acquisition, Michael Taylor, senior transport buyer for the NHS, will be giving his personal view of the benefits of purchasing vehicles electronically.

Neil McCrossan, vice-president, sales and marketing for National Car Rental, will be giving an in-depth presentation on how online services can benefit rental acquisitions. Four speakers will address key areas of online fleet management, including a speaker from online leasing company Tuskerdirect, who will look at the benefits of running contract hire vehicles over the web.

Ashley Sowerby, managing director of Chevin Fleet Solutions, will provide a customer case study showing how internet services helped manage an owned fleet. Fuel card giant AllStar will be hosting a presentation on the current possibilities created by online fuel management and Greg Connell, managing director of Epyx, will be revealing how online maintenance management can slash costs for fleets.

In a session dedicated to disposals, remarketing giant BCA Europe will provide a corporate and customer viewpoint of what web-based systems have to offer.

Two key security issues will be addressed in a special section of the conference, with Checkwizard (also known as FD Mobile) examining the security implications of allowing employees access to the internet, while Simon Drummond, web services and product manager for Siemens VDO, will look at the benefits of web-based vehicle tracking systems for keeping employees safe on the road. To sum up the day, Jason Francis, managing director of cfc solutions, will be looking at how a fleet could co-ordinate the use of online systems to create a virtually paper-free, low maintenance operation and what the future could bring.

As well as a host of speakers, there will be a number of industry experts exhibiting at the event. These include ABS Bodyshop Services, Siemens VDO Trading, cfc solutions, Chevin Fleet Solutions, BP, Elite Incident Management and Cybit.

BP/ESSO connection, tracking of fuel tankers, I'm sure it's been mentioned before but I still see the Health & Safety/ Duty of Care Issue as a major selling point of Cybit's technology.

What has been achieved to date is only a pre-cursor to what lies ahead.

I would imagine the defence aspects of CYH's technology are quite interesting too - ie fixing the position of all units on a battlefield...

Sorry to bother you again so soon Chrissie but I have a bit of a dilemma that you may be able to help me with - I can sell around the middle of the year and benefit from having held for one year (50% less cgt), would this be advisable IYHO or would it be better to continue to hold. ps. if I sold it would probably be after full year results are published. Any advice would be most helpful. TIA.

I'm sorry, it's just too early to say. Some people think (people I work with) that there will a lot of consolidation in the telematics industry during the next year. Cybit could possibly be taken over by TrafficMaster. So we'll all just have to wait and see what happens. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but to be honest MM, I really wouldn't want to advise anyone to buy or sell. I know that sounds strange as my posts are so positive but I have never said buy, I've only ever said don't sell at this ridiculous price because I know there is a lot to come from this company, as we all do. Also, I can tell you that all my spare cash is in this share and if and when more cash becomes available I would buy more CYH.

Having said all that, I know it's hard when other shares are flying and we're stuck at 3p for weeks, but our turn will come. It's tempting to sell a few and dabble elsewhere and aim to return later, but I feel that this share is a dangerous share to be out of, as the right news could send it into orbit very quickly. Many investors and chartists said that we would test the support level at 2.70p this week and then rise sharply.

Everyone should remember that the institutions bought in at 3p and they must know what's to come otherwise why choose Cybit to invest in? They don't invest 5million in a company without doing a lot of research. They are in business to make money and they chose Cybit to invest in.

As for Cybit winning contracts; all I can tell you is that the company I work for has lost 2 contract renewals, and yes you've guessed it, Cybit will be taking those contracts over in due course!!
