Ki-Bi Announces CTIA Wireless 2006 Ki-Bi Card(TM); Branded Cards Distribute Content on Behalf of AOL, Reuters, USATODAY.com & More
CTIA Wireless 2006
LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 2006--Mobile content distribution specialist Ki-Bi Mobile (LSE:KIB) Technologies announced today that it will be distributing Ki-Bi cards this week at the CTIA Wireless event in Las Vegas, Nevada. The CTIA branded Ki-Bi cards(TM) are targeted at show attendees and feature the best in mobile content from leading brands - Reuters, AOL, USATODAY.com, Spinfone, Impact Mobile, and SilverBirch Studios. The CTIA Wireless Ki-Bi cards will be presented to attendees at registration and at the Ki-Bi CTIA Booth #5617.

By using the Ki-Bi card, attendees have access to a variety of content and applications including the latest news from Reuters and USATODAY.com and AOL Mobile Web to make connections with AIM(R), AOL(R) Mail and Mobile Search Services. In addition, attendees will also have access to fun applications - they can brush up on their gaming skills with Black Jack and Poker Tips, experience Karaoke for their mobile phone and participate in a text to win contest worth $10,000 in cash.

Gary Yentin, Vice President of Business Development, Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies, said: "The CTIA Wireless Ki-Bi card brings together, high-quality, premium mobile content and applications along with a powerful physical distribution channel. Ki-Bi's unique platform enables mobile content and applications companies to maximize their revenues by providing their target audience with a fast and easy way to download their content."

Stephen Smyth, Vice President of Reuters Media, said, "We are delighted that the CTIA audience will be able to access our mobile site (mobile.reuters.com) using the Ki-Bi card. The unique delivery method makes it extremely easy for people to access Reuters up-to-the minute news and information. We're very excited about the potential of this new distribution channel; the CTIA card is the third initiative we've partnered with Ki-Bi on to distribute Reuters content."

Matti Zinder, CEO Spin3, said: "Our new relationship with Ki-Bi represents an exciting step forward for Spin3 and opens up a new and targeted sales channel for our play-for-fun network casino games and content. The Ki-Bi cards provide us with an innovative, flexible and attention grabbing way of attracting the CTIA audience to Spin3's broad and unique content offering."

Gary Schwartz, President and CEO of Impact Mobile said: "Across North America, the brands and agencies we work with are complimenting online interactive with a mobile "offline interactive" strategy: allowing their consumers to click when they don't have a mouse. Impact Mobile is excited to work with Ki-Bi's technology as another solution simplifying the offline interactive experience for the consumer and the brand."

The Ki-Bi card is a physical device and server platform for the distribution of mobile content. To access content from a Ki-Bi card, customers simply dial the Ki-Bi phone number, hold the card up to their phone and press the button on the card relating to the content of their choice. An acoustic tone is played which triggers the download of content to the phone from the content server.

About Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies

Ki-Bi provides innovative technological solutions for physical distribution and marketing of content and applications for mobile handsets. The Company's business model is based upon the sale of electronic content cards ("Cards") and sharing of the revenues from the content distributed through the Cards. Ki-Bi became publicly traded on AIM in London in May 2005 (LSE: KIB).

Content such as ringtones, music, video and games for mobile handsets is currently distributed mainly by over-the-air downloads into handsets, but there are technological, logistic and marketing barriers to traditional physical distribution of such content via retail outlets. Ki-Bi provides a solution for the tangible distribution of mobile content based on a combination of proprietary consumer electronics devices and central management server systems.

The Ki-Bi card, with its high perceived value and mass market appeal, is specifically designed to lead mobile content product categories in the retail and promotional space. During the past two years, Ki-Bi has established relationships with global leaders in the mobile market such as Motorola, Ericsson, Orange, O2, Sun Microsystems, Siemens and others.
