Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

Hi Phil

Good Luck to you but you and I both know you won't need it!

Hope ***ton ***** under 12s continue to do well. How did they get on over the weekend?

shabba - 02 Feb 2004 17:20 - 1022 of 3104

'the pay as you drive trials are progressing well.'

Nothing whatsoever to do with cybit. Its IBM that have that contract. So Chrissie has now resorted to 'thinking' instead of 'knowing' now. Go onto the ADVFN board and have a look at the posts by 190763. He e-mailed NU and they sent him confirmation about Cybit having nothing whatsoever to with NU 'pay as you drive'. As i said too many on here full of s**t. How many of you have listened to Chrissie and bought, thinking he/she knows. How very very sad. I did tell uou didn'I !!!!!!

Just back to say this: You are wrong, wrong, wrong! WAIT AND SEE!!!!!

You seem to respect PHIL/EFC ? Well, ask him then and see what he says...go on, ASK HIM.

Chrissie,stay..your valuable cooperation is well appreciated.I would ignore the like of shabba who have nothing better to offer.

Question...u know efc quite well then???

chrissie - 02 Feb 2004 18:19 - 1025 of 3104

Cybit do have an "involvement" with "pay as you drive" and there will be news of a big contract with Norwich Union. I'm saying no more...as efc/phil said "lets see who knows what"....

efc123/phil Where are you?

Sorry nematode I have to go, for now.

I think it was prepared who said that a lot of what I say is down to rumour and office gossip. Well that is true! So you're right when you say I don't "know" things. But sometimes it just feels like I know them because the rumour is so strong. These rumours are often proved right. We just hear things and we believe them to be true and they often are. The only people who really "know" are the executives of the companies involved but sometimes things leak out. Someone might know someone who works somewhere and knows that a certain company is having several meetings and telphone conversations with another company and rumours just spread. Or maybe someone high up says to a member of staff "We didn't get that contract and we know they're in talks with Cybit" and so on. For instance the Telematics conference last Wednesday 28thJan. All the reps from different companies meet and chat and see and hear etc.....it can be a very small world.

Cybit have something going with Norwich Union, I am not sure about the content but Norwich Union is huge and any contract with them will be a big one.

Apart from NU there will be lots of other new contracts and yes we THINK at least four before year end results. My colleagues and I own shares in Cybit hardly any of us own shares in our own company. We constantly hear good things of Cybit...

I have never said "BUY", I have only ever said don't get impatient and sell because there are good things to come.

shabba - 02 Feb 2004 19:56 - 1027 of 3104

nematode.... As i have said before, dont listen to me either. Think for yourself. E-mail N.U. yourself, see what they say?. I did, says nothing whatsoever about cybit re: 'pay as you go'
As for efc, well he ramps on ADVFN, Chrissie on Money AM.

Dear XXXXXXXXXX

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding 'Pay As You Drive' TM Insurance.
I am pleased to be able to confirm that Our technology partners are IBM who
are providing all the systems support other than the mobile phone network.
The mobile phone network is used to send all the data via the GSM network
and that is supported by Orange.

I hope this answers your query, if you do have any further questions over
this or any other telematic issue please do not hesitate to contact us.

Yours Sincerely

Kieron Seggar

Or......

Dear XXXXXXXXXXX

Thank you for your enquiry, please accept my apologies that you have not
been contacted sooner.
The Norwich Union "Pay As You Drive"TM insurance pilot is using a host of
technology. The system we are using comprises of a small telematics device,
created using IBM software, and it is being transmitted using the Orange
mobile network.

I trust this satisfies your request - please let me know if you require
further information.

Kind regards

CYBIT HOLDINGS PLC ('CYBIT')

CYBIT ANNOUNCES CONTRACT WITH TRISTAR

Cybit Holdings PLC ('Cybit') is pleased to announce a new contract win with
Tristar Worldwide Chauffeur Services.

Under the agreement, Cybit has integrated its Fleetstar-Online web-based fleet
management and telematics solution with Trafficmaster's Smartnav off-board
satellite navigation solution to provide Tristar with a powerful combination of
fleet management tools and satellite navigation with live traffic information.

The contract has an initial value of 140,000.

Tristar currently operates some 300 executive vehicles to blue chip corporations
and airline customers throughout the UK, including running Virgin Atlantic's
first-class airport transfer service. The new solution will allow Tristar to
track its fleet continuously, enabling it to offer improved levels of customer
service while increasing its own operational efficiencies.

Richard Horsman, Chief Executive of Cybit Holdings PLC, said:

'This ground breaking deal is Cybit's first Fleetstar-online licence only deal.
Working closely with Trafficmaster to integrate our two companies' core
technologies will not only deliver instant bottom line benefits to Tristar, but
by utilising our sophisticated solution, it will also enable Tristar to
substantially improve its market offering.

'It is a strong endorsement for Cybit that Tristar have chosen our solutions to
underpin its services, and demonstrates the strength of our products and market
leading position within the telematics industry.'

Shabba,

As mentioned before - comment on the company not other posters - we are more than willing to remove a users access if they become personal against other posters.

Good news this morning -Chrissie is being proved right. I agree about the other posters who just come on to be VERY RUDE---no need for it. we are all here to support each other!

Golfclub12 - 03 Feb 2004 12:57 - 1040 of 3104

I know that this is a long term hold but "frustrating or what"!!!!
Would Traffic master be having an adverse effect on this share ?
