Notice these guys said they would report in June --- now August . Pretty strange as they virtually gave the numbers is a trading update in late March !! True they did report in August last year but is that a good enough excuse!!
Plus story went that they missed a couple of big orders in last period which would come through this year - no sign yet.
Recent volume could be on misconception of director buying

love the 'nig orders' idd may have missed. is that short for nigerian orders? ;-)
at least people are buying, albeit spasmodically. enough to get the mm's to move the price up though which is what i want.
as always i hope something nice is cooking in the background that is on it's way to the dining room if you get my drift.

UKSAMOA,
Trust me you are not dancing alone!!!!
Long may it continue,
While its good to see this rise,i am wary of the spread which has narrowed form 30 to 15% accounting for 50% of the rise in SP.
Lets hope there is good news on its way
Mr MOLE where are you?

have to say from working with ID - they are making a lot of (costly) silly mistakes, and not doing themselves any favours. RECRUIT some font line staff so you can get on with BAU - please!
long term however, I hear that market consolidation is nigh, and I D are more concentrating on pitching themselves to be the ones to watch in the new market (hence the lack of focus on todays customers if you ask me). They have plans to expand into pre-paid cards (ie gift cards) as well as loyalty platform providers.
Qiestion is...Can you hang in that long? My holding is now so worthless, it's not even worth selling. So I'm staying, more by default than choice though....

ID Data PLC
30 October 2006
Press Release 30 October 2006
ID Data Plc
('ID Data' or 'the Company')
Trading Update
Result of AGM
ID Data plc (the 'Company') announces that all resolutions proposed at its
Annual General Meeting on Friday October 27th 2006 were approved.
Funding
The group also announces that it has entered into an agreement with Lloyds TSB
Commercial Finance for interim working capital and loan finance of 1.25m.
These facilities are supported by a personal guarantee of 1m from the Company's
largest shareholder, Peter Cox. Negotiations continue to secure longer term
finance against the group's assets.
Trading Update
As indicated in the annual report, the Company has found the UK market
challenging in the current trading period. Nonetheless, contracts have been
renewed with Nectar and a 3 year supply and management agreement for bank cards
with the world's largest credit card issuer has been signed. The 3 year
contract to deliver identity cards to the National Union of Students is
successfully progressing.
Furthermore, an exclusive contract incorporating distribution and licensing
throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, has been signed with Vanguard,
the US technology company, whose patented key fob products have already been
delivered to Tesco and Nectar. The key fob technology includes the ability to
provide fobs with bar-codes, magnetic stripes and radio frequency identity
(RFID). There are major revenue opportunities for loyalty applications and '
touch and go' payment solutions whose popularity for transportation and micro
payments is increasing throughout the world.
In the new area of Pre-Paid card technology, ID Data has made major account
gains and currently has many new card designs under development, giving it a
market leading position closely aligned with its retailer customer base.
In summary, the Company has now entered a period of increased activity, with a
number of new contracts in the final stages of negotiation.
