required field - 24 Jul 2017 19:57 - 1103 of 1263

Might be a serious comeback here as their acreage has big potential.....if only crude would rise as well......

hermana - 26 Jul 2017 14:03 - 1104 of 1263

Crude close to $50 is ok. This well will be huge....

hermana - 27 Jul 2017 11:08 - 1105 of 1263

This is about to pop!

White knuckle time on the good ship Providence!!!!!

Have to agree with you Hermana that this is a high impact well !....in two parts I gather with another well spud to follow....all in the porcupine basin off the west coast of Ireland...years in the planning !.....game changer if really successful !.....risky but you never know...always the barryroe discovery to fall back on.....(southeast off the irish coast)......

hermana - 03 Aug 2017 09:11 - 1110 of 1263

Req,It is perched on boom or bust now! Leaning towards the former myself and have me money on it too.

required field - 03 Aug 2017 13:08 - 1111 of 1263

It still has the Barryroe discovery and they are going to conduct further exploration from what I understand.....this current well program is going to go on for some months so ...: a lot at stake here with the porcupine basin....

required field - 03 Aug 2017 13:41 - 1112 of 1263

What a lot of people don't know is that they are going after a possible 5 billion barrels of crude ...this is an estimation by schlumberger....I have to say that I would fall over backwards if they discover anything remotely like that.....and the estimation for Avalon is even scarier...20 billion barrels ???....farm ins still going on...so this is fascinating stuff !.....real wildcats though....the second well this year is optional from what I gather ....

Disappointing result....on to the next one...

cynic - 04 Aug 2017 09:36 - 1114 of 1263

i'm afraid the market was predicting a poor result for the last few days

required field - 04 Aug 2017 09:50 - 1115 of 1263

They can't predict it Cynic....just that the chances of a first time success are very slim...now drilling deeper...unexplored this vast area off the west coast of Irelend....a small punt now might bring dividends on the sp rebound....

cynic - 04 Aug 2017 10:08 - 1116 of 1263

there are far better stocks than this
even UKOG might give you a better result

cynic - 04 Aug 2017 10:08 - 1117 of 1263

there are far better stocks than this
even UKOG might have a better chance of reaping you rewards

mentor - 04 Aug 2017 10:14 - 1118 of 1263

re- UKOG

Goodness Gracious Me, anyone would say you are holding some!

cynic - 04 Aug 2017 10:19 - 1119 of 1263

no i'm not, though i watch it with somewhat bemused interest
if/when UKOG drops back to 5p or lower, it becomes a better risk/reward, but even then you'ld have to be prepared to lose 50/75% of your money if you insist on hanging on and hanging on as you clearly have with PVR

required field - 04 Aug 2017 11:24 - 1120 of 1263

This one has potential...the sp is so low now....check out the acreage and the barryroe oil discovery....I know it's risky but there is the potential for a massive discovery if not in the current well but in future drills....as it is : I'm staying put and will wait for better times.....
