Bye Opto - just saw this before I went - emailed you with a phone
number that may be helpful if yours is a HP printer - I thought you
said it was, but I could have got that wrong....See you!!

Socrates - 10 Aug 2004 17:20 - 11251 of 23498

Hello all. A brighter day with more blue in the sky and in my portfolio. Not made a fortune but then money isn't everything!

One thing to remember about inkjet printers, don't use non original maker's cartridges until the warranty has run out. If you send it back they will wash their hands of it. Warranty invalidated. It happened to a friend of mine, most dischuffed when they wanted more than the original cost to repair it.

optomistic - 10 Aug 2004 18:28 - 11252 of 23498

Socs. Any warranty ran out a long time ago, but take your point.

Socrates - 10 Aug 2004 18:44 - 11253 of 23498

optomistic
Perhaps you should take the opposite point of view and say to the cartridge suppliers "Oi, your cartridge totalled my printer!"

On the other hand, could just have a cup of tea.

Big Al - 10 Aug 2004 20:45 - 11254 of 23498

Evening.

Apologies for being absent without leave recently, but I seem to have been very busy. Dyatime trading is hectic and evenings/weekends seem to be full of all the other stuff in life - you know, the good stuff!

Just popped in for a quickie before viewing a programme on the box. Apparently 9pm has this one about the "rich" family throwing expletives at everything. Should be a hoot!

I see the place is clean and ship-shaped as usual.

Carry on!

Al
;-)

Socrates - 10 Aug 2004 20:49 - 11255 of 23498

Big Al
Nice to see you. That programme sounds just like the kind of prog to make me hit the off switch.

I've just returned from an exhilarating trolley race at Tesco's. The weekly panic buy out of the way.

Big Al - 10 Aug 2004 20:59 - 11256 of 23498

Soc

Think it might be an absolute giggle after a hard day fighting L2.

Sounds like you're ready for armageddon having stocked up with tins of all sorts. I believe my better half is planning to fight Tescos tomorrow.Might saunter down for another giggle then!

;-)

chocolat - 10 Aug 2004 22:51 - 11257 of 23498

jj - what exactly did you put in your coffee this morning? Oh ye of little faith.. ;)

Poochie-poo - can you show me how you whip up those chocolate fingers please?

STORMCALLER - 10 Aug 2004 23:15 - 11258 of 23498

Evening all,
I've got this blue bit on my stockwatch, is it another false alarm like last night, or is it the real thing? I suspect I will find out soon enough!
So just in case, chilled fizz to celebrate before they reset the database, or demodulate a web-cluster, and sod it all up again, cheers!

STORMCALLER - 10 Aug 2004 23:47 - 11259 of 23498

I know one shouldn't, work tomorrow and all that, but I'm going to open another, after all a BLUE. Anyway this one's warm.........and empty.
