Tabby your statement re - Michael Owen is as ridiculous as your much earlier posts re- Defoe being a better player than Rooney. Owen in his prime and before he was dogged by injury was on a par with Ian Rush (Now there was a great Welshman Dil, with Kevin Ratcliffe and Neville Southall :o)..) and arguably Gary Lineker.
