I think the possibilities are enormous here, and this share price would be a lot lot higher if it wasn't for Tadpoles past record of dissapointments. Hence my staunch allegiance.

mackem - 07 Jan 2005 18:16 - 1142 of 2262

That Advfn Tad thread sure is a better place when maut too is not posting.

Moneylender - 07 Jan 2005 19:38 - 1143 of 2262

Its a better place when Ollie and aliases are not posting.
Why did you come over here to say that?

yuff - 08 Jan 2005 17:53 - 1144 of 2262

ML
I think we both know who mackem is, how anyone can even consider maut and ollie in the same sentence is a disgrace to maut, who at least sticks to the share in question, whilst ollie occasionally can be humorous his foul mouth lets him down repeatedly.

pachandl - 09 Jan 2005 12:41 - 1145 of 2262

The Tad thread on Advfn has become a complete joke, full stop.

whilst i agree with you, as an investor and bb reader/contributor of 5 years standing, i am of the opinion that all is not what it seems.
i used to poo poo the " ramping/deramping" shit that appears every day on every thread. now i am even MORE WARY of anything i read on a bb.

"his foul mouth lets him down repeatedly"

Yuff,

I follow the ADVFN BB occasionally but don't post there as it seems everyone is just out to rip anyone else to pieces, and lets face it we are all here to make money. However I am surprised that you seem to defend this character know as Maut Too (?) as I seem to recall him posting numerous lengthy posts to the extent that Tadpole was a crap investment and would probably go bust.

Now he has changed tack it would seem, but that doesn't excuse his attack no the Company not more than a couple of weeks ago.I must say I find your stance strange given that you claim to be a holder too?

Tadpole-Cartesia Adds to Its ESRI Enterprise Field Systems Suite With Release of GO! Sync for ArcPad 9.0 Software
Designed around ESRI's ArcGIS 9.0 technology, GO! Sync for ArcPad 9.0 creates a data management system for field users to automatically update and synchronize data stored on handheld devices with central Enterprise GIS

Carlsbad (California), January 11, 2005: Tadpole-Cartesia, the geospatial solutions division of Tadpole Technology plc (LSE-TAD), today announces general availability of new functionality software for ESRI's ArcPad.

Built using ArcGIS 9.0 technology, with support for ArcGIS 8.X included, the software gives unprecedented field practicality to ESRI's ArcPad by automating the process of fully synchronizing fresh GIS data between ArcSDE or Personal Geodatabases and shapefiles stored on handheld devices when docked or on-line. Simple to install and use, the software ensures reliable data transactions, and is a seamless extension to ArcGIS.

Tadpole-Cartesia, a strategic business partner of ESRI, sees its automated geosystem as a compelling business solution for enterprises and organizations with extended field forces. They become more productive, efficient and can respond faster to customer needs. Utilities, state and local government agencies and water/wastewater organizations figure high on its target industries.

"Tadpole-Cartesia's GO! Sync for ArcPad 9.0 is the hub of the first truly automated data management system for organizations looking to extend ArcPad to large field forces," said Don Fryhover, Tadpole-Cartesia's director of sales and marketing for North American operations. "Combined with ArcPad, any PDA device and our expertise in developing custom applications, the industry now has a one-stop shop for extended enterprise deployments of ArcPad."

Initially, the system will be sold by Tadpole-Cartesia direct to ESRI's worldwide customer base. Special early-adopter packages run through Q1, 2005. Call 760-929-8345, or email sales@us.tadpole.com, for details.

Webinar - GO! Sync for ArcPad 9.0
Tadpole-Cartesia will host an industry webinar of its GO! Sync for ArcPad 9.0 system on January 20, 2005 at 9am Pacific. Industry personnel wishing to participate should pre-register via Tadpole-Cartesia's website - http://www.tadpolecartesia.com.

About Tadpole-Cartesia's GO! Sync for ArcPad solution
Tadpole-Cartesia's GO! Sync for ArcPad product is a turnkey solution that automates the process of updating GIS data stored on handhelds. An add-on module for ArcPad, GO! This automated process enables organizations to efficiently share concurrent spatial information in support of field operations, and also saves bandwidth. By simplifying the process, GO! ML - I do not doubt Tad's technological superiority - but it is sales that count. Let's hope Tad is producing something that its customer base wants, and is prepared to pay for. Even then, this particular development will have a relatively long lead-in time and is unlikely to make much of a contribution to coffers over the next few months. Still, I could always be wrong.

amardev - 11 Jan 2005 13:08 - 1153 of 2262

Thanks for the update ML.

Am a big holder of TAD....

and getting a little nervous with the lack of newsflow and results not yet released.

Cheers all Tad holders.

Moneylender - 11 Jan 2005 14:58 - 1154 of 2262

amardev

Even though todays news helps, its not the big news that i expect.
I think the results will be here this week and we may get something very soon afterwards.
Hold tight the fireworks are just begining.

M

pachandl - 11 Jan 2005 15:52 - 1155 of 2262

ML - do you have a date for announcement of results? Cheers in advance.

Moneylender - 11 Jan 2005 16:37 - 1156 of 2262

Not yet mate! They have to be announced by the end of jan, but as most of the workwas done for the Stream theory deal, I can only assume they are holding them until they are 100% ready.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, maut knew I disagreed with his bear stance at the time. Everyone is going to call their own book, maut is no different.

Meanwhile I think ML is right about news near to the results and have topped uo today and yesterday based on this.

Moneylender - 11 Jan 2005 18:44 - 1158 of 2262

Yuff

Dont go topping up on my sayso or you will be topping yourself!!
My track record on TAD is not wonderful, i am still getting up early remember.
Any more news of that tip you gave me last week, i thought we should have heard something by now?

DYOR, I know.

pachandl - 11 Jan 2005 18:55 - 1159 of 2262

Down again. This is getting monotonous. Apologies for my apparent pessimism - esp as I am still a holder.

Moneylender - 12 Jan 2005 10:22 - 1160 of 2262

Ollie are you here???
