ii has never said he was a shorter. He has said that he has no financial interest in the share at all. I have no problem with shorters, you pay your money and take your choice. I do have a problem with outrageous lies, however. ii has baltently told untruths on the boards, expressing them as factual, and hoping that he can cover his sorry ass by putting IMO at the end.
This will not wash when he states that Starpol HAS failed FDA tests. In the fullness of time, it may do exactly that, but that is not what he said, meant or implied.
I do not care whether he believes it to be the worst investment since the south sea bubble, or the best since Microsoft first listed. what I care about is the quality of this board and it is not served by lying. It is only served by genuine people offering genuine and reasoned arguments both for and against the share, making other investers research better and more thoroughly, and make a more informed choice on what to do with their money.

All I ever saw PM do was Google around and cut and paste the results.Anyone doing serious research wouldn`t post it anyway, its an ego trip he is harmless, just an obsessive.
Some say he was paid by SEO, well Oblomov did, perhaps he was right,or perhaps that was jealousy, Oblomov is pretty creepy anyway, fear of libel probably stopped him going further with the accusation.

This is the first thread on the first BB I ever "joined". It was a great thread - Bosley, Eric, Baza, Driver, ptholden - lots of others with modest ego, a keen interest in the share (SEO in case you've forgotten!), a delight in good analysis and a sharp sense of humour. Can all the moralists leave now please. Since PM and qc were banned this thread has become intolerable - worse than when Paul's obessive compulsive disorder was allowed full reign (or is that rein?). I've long ago squelched ii and Shamona and only see their inanity reflected in misguided responders to their taunts (we did have an understanding amongst the brethren at one time never to respond to them - whenever sustained absolutely, they always used to fade from view pretty quickly.)

Why don't we try a new game - you're only allowed to post if you bring one interesting thought or fact about SEO to the table. That's a pretty wide brief, so not at all intended to be exclusive. But I can't wade through all this he-said, she-said crap evey day any longer.

It's a bit like a stop-loss. We all know we should sell, but we fall in love with the share. I know I should just quit this thread, but I like the mates I have met on it.

Well, almost two days of mostly irrelevant posts preparing for pantomine season.

Brandname, whilst it would be excellent news if Northern Foods were adopting Greenseal and Starpol as a package please don't assume that the new packaging is this, there are several developments taking place for ready meals.
I still can't see a major Walmart deal without full FDA approval, I suspect the Conference will be about detailing future projects and intentions but it is a good place for SEO to put their products into the public eye alongside Natureworks.
For Starpol to be successful as a sustainable packaging alternative in USA, SEO need Walmart to spend money converting machines and changing packaging concepts otherwise success is out of their hands here unless legislation is passed and I can't see Bush doing that, he doesn't give a flying one about the rest of the world as long as his own country is OK (well most of it). MAYBE we all write to him and tell him it will conserve US oil stocks and they could also grow the crop in the US as well. What a policy, reduce the oil price due to high stocks, in turn reducing inflation and interest rates and at the same time employ loads more farmers.

A nice piece on tv today arguing the merits and demerits of banning plastic bags at the checkout, much the way they have done in Ireland.

Interestingly, the removal of liberal numbers of plastic bags in Ireland was accepted by the majority quite painlessly. Would seem they are a true "green" country after all.
There is still the opportunity to offer the biodegradeable alternative from SEO.
we have a fantastic momentum building in green packaging. We are not yet there but green will become the norm across a broad range of consumables. It was this that brought me into SEO at 4p many moons ago.

A no-brainer eventually , just the timescales which I cannot be too sure of.

This weeks fall back in price provided a nice opportunity to top up.

Whilst I do not wish to become involved in the present bout of trashy posts I have to put the record straight on this one. I have never said PM1 or anyone for that matter was paid by SEO , so I dont know where you got that one from. Well, actually I may do because some time ago when I first looked at this BB and being rather 'green' to the way these BB's worked, I sent a private message to Sequestor and asked him if PM1 was paid by SEO because of PM1's ramping of the share.

I assume you are Sequestor in a new guise and have made the 'creepy' gibe because I 'helped' to get you banned on FYB where you had all but destroyed the SEO thread.

apologies to baza and anyone else finding this boring, (including myself), but.....dormar, you really should have just posted your first sentence and left it there. it was all that needed to be said. why you then had to give us all your ill-thought-out opinion of pm1 baffles me. as for research, i did mine a few years ago. did you?

You may be right but based on recent RNS which included ASDA confirming they were on course to have 200 machines from their supply base converted to "Greenseal", and Northern Foods being one of their main suppliers I'd bet quite a few quid that Northern Foods are adopting the technology. If I remember rightly (stand corrected if I am wrong) but "ready meals" was one of the tests that ASDA carried out earlier in the year with SEO.

I contacted NF and they confirmed that they had NOT adopted the SEO products YET. - and I think that this was confirmed by SEO wwho said that they were not on their pririty list. Mind - that was about 2 weeks ago

Brandname, I agree and hope that it is true, I am aware of other developments as well but I don't know if a) they've been offered to Asda or b) the packaging has been greenseal tested. The reason is that Greenseal might defeat the whole object of a new concept being developed for a part of the ready meals market. Then again Greenseal might not affect it and it might be that its Greenseal +Starpol anyay, the point is we don't know yet.

From memory, this afternoon/evening is mainly registration and then the official business starts tomorrow. I think that Natureworks and WalMart are presenting tomorrow.

If they are going to mention any SEO products in their presentation, then I suspect we may see a RNS tomorrow probably well after the market has opened in the UK so as not to steal too much of the their business partners' thunder.

my understanding was that SEO are not actually presenting in Philly, although they are attending. Full details at link below, including Agenda and 'attendee' list.

I believe it was suggested SEO may be involved in the Natureworks presentation (details here), but not sure if that was confirmed.
