The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

So how much is the bid going to be then?
I'll go for around 2 based on the fact of nc current fair value 1.46 and bit more for the trading update and premium for future earnings.

Interestingly there were 2 large buys that did not show up until late on Friday. That is 2 x 1,056,080 so it may be wise to be on the ball first thing Monday morning. As for the price, I wouldn't hazard a guess. However, the volume and timing of the buys gives food for thought.

Yeah but it didn't stay there long did it ?
It was 54p the day the announcement was made which means a bid of 120p would represent a 120% premium ... thats pushing it a bit in my books.

Thanks Dil
After today's downs and ups anything seems possible.
I would think that it would be at least 150 although I still stick with my 2 guestimate

It started the day at 54p and by lunchtime news had leaked out and thats why it had risen. It would have been near as damn it 54p when the approach was made (as it had been for several days prior).
I hope you all get a fiver .... but don't hold your breath.

Dil, I hope he gets a fiver.
It will make up for my misery at the moment.
But think I would be happy to see 125p, although I thnk it is worth more.

No mention of the word profit in the update or any news on the takeover.

The discussions with Stanelco with regard patents would have to be resolved before any take-over. The patents are very important to MDX products, so therefore without them MDX would slide back to sub 10p -15p.
Any litigation would costly for SEO and MDX. Hopefully they will not go there.

Gone a bit quite on this thread but here are some comments from the Mail today, also snippets in Times & Express - target 95p
Note the Daily Mail Finance Section has coverage on Meldex:
"Suitors galore at pharmaceutical group Meldex, up 3.25p to 67.5p, to value it at 135m. It first disclosed a possible offer, believed to be from founder Barry Muncaster, on January 14. Now at least two others have joined the queue. Formerly called Bioprogress, Meldex makes fast dissolving tablets and other over-the-counter products, but is best known for Crescina, which restores hair to the follicularly challenged".

The tablets are better defined a control released than fast dissolving. For other than cyanide the latter has little advantages over what it already in the market.
The latter claim has done little for my hair growth.
