Planestation (Ex Wiggins Group plc) (PTG)

Socrates - 10 Jan 2004 10:34

Time now for all us Wiggins watchers to move with the times and start using Planestation, the new company identity. The name Wiggins Group plc has now disappeared from the database at Companies House and Planestation is now listed on the LSE website.

So fellow travellers, forget Wiggins, the name of the game is now PLANESTATION. Lets hope it goes like an express train.

Planestation has been a dog in the past, but with renewed vigor and local demand it looks set to fly!. I am also puzzled by the large number of Sells, significantly more than Buys.
Some sellers may be turning a fast-buck from those distant days when Wiggins was just over a penny, but that was long-enough ago to weed them out. So just what is it that makes people dump shares that could become bigger?.
No, I just don't get it, unless there is some bad new blowing in soon.

It could be because as interest rate are forcasted to rise companies with large debt will suffer??

All we keep hearing is good news, see the links to it earlier in this thread.

The movement is on fairly low volume.

The 2 unknown trades of 1 million swamp all the others & I wonder what they really were.

Maybe there is some really good news coming & the MMs are aquiring stock?

Who knows?

PTG have got cash not debts.

slmchow - 19 Feb 2004 21:28 - 126 of 1086

apple

On Hemscott.net for PTG balance sheet 31 March 2003

creditors short 65.4 million
creditors long 2.84million

They have cash , yes, from this latest issue to pay off debts? or is it working capital for current and future pojects?

When the BIP open in the summer and signs of lots of activity there, ie fresh cargo and hopefully passenger will be when there could be some movement I hope

slmchow

This is out of date, see RNS & see previous msgs in this thread.

Net cash is about 30 million & debts are paid off.

i finally found it

Quote from share magazine 15 - 21 Jan 04
"Cash at bank 12.9 million while short term creditors fall two thirds to 23.9 million"

apple - 20 Feb 2004 14:17 - 129 of 1086

slmchow

Sorry, I remembered it wrongly.

I should have said 31 million net book value.

How selective you have been.

The full quote of that paragraph is

"Based on the 31 March balance sheet, the new money turns Wigginss 16.4 million net liabilities into a 31 million net book value. Cash at bank rises to 12.9 million while short-term creditors fall two thirds to 23.9 million."

Maybe you wanted the price to go down?

It has, so this is another buying opportunity IMHO.

Golfclub12 - 20 Feb 2004 14:29 - 130 of 1086

Strange one as buys outway sells considerably!

slmchow - 20 Feb 2004 15:39 - 131 of 1086

It is a good buying opportunity but like the last paragraph of the share magazine article says. quote

'Warrants, convertibles and options would add a further 500 million shares, taking the diluted share base beyond 2.6 billion'

So we need a good whole volume of trade to get any movement if you think for example FTO and THUS have about 1.4 billion in circulation

ajren - 20 Feb 2004 16:41 - 132 of 1086

I,too,do not understand why the price is going down - especially as I have
found no negatives/potential negatives ANYWHERE.Incidentally, have they applied
for planning permission for - the reduced size - Londoncityracecourse ?

jeffmack - 20 Feb 2004 16:57 - 133 of 1086

So 31m net book value, diluted share base of 2.6BN.

I make that just over 1p per share. About right.

skyhigh - 20 Feb 2004 17:07 - 134 of 1086

Bummer ! must sell. while I'm still in profit ! (Just)

ajren - 20 Feb 2004 17:49 - 135 of 1086

I am in a live/die position :-250,000 shares

ajren - 20 Feb 2004 18:12 - 136 of 1086

Share price drop :-Perhaps explanation :-

See www.bbc.co.uk/Kent
They have been just fined 52,000 sterling for breaching night flight agreement.
The objectors were hoping for a fine of Millions.

My guess is that Manston were merely testing the waters to see would they
not be fined and thus effectively create a precedence ensuring night flights
would continue to increase albeit at a slow pace.
Opinions ??

Thanks ajren

For some real facts.

ajren - 23 Feb 2004 11:14 - 138 of 1086

I was wrong i.e.my above explanation was not the reason - they are down
again today. There must be some logical reason - hard fact - why so much
downside:-especially over the past week.Anyone know ?

apple - 23 Feb 2004 11:32 - 139 of 1086

Hmmmmmm,

I would like to buy some more at this price but I still haven't found out what is going on.

Golfclub12 - 23 Feb 2004 12:25 - 140 of 1086

It looks similar to the cybit shares !!! The MMs are in control waiting for you to sell. Not me.........
