Oblo,
The decadent Yanks would much prefer to have the kudos of paying more and having an inferior seal and product preservation, than suffering the shame of appearing poor by moving to a greatly improved packaging system with the incidental attribute of being biodegrable. Makes sense to me.

garyble,
Dont follow you at all. I wouldn't expect the savings to be passed onto the general public, and I'm sure the likes of Walmart, MacDonalds etc. would not consider it made them look poor if they made bigger profits.

Oblo,
I'll assume that you're still rubbing the sleep from your eyes......my last post was a bit of tongue-in-cheek.
SD,
This horizon will do for now.

As I said, treat sales (particulary on small-caps) , by a factor of 3X,the proof is there this a.m. as the price falls back from its` top,
One thing puzzles me , why do those who constantly say that small price movements are irrelevant, as they are in for the long haul ( having missed the last peak by a factor of 2), use multiple aliases over half a dozen bb`s, posting 24/7 on the glories of their `loved one`? (Evelyn Waugh got that title right).
Surely if you hold ,you just post now and then, not illegal ramping surely??

Don't mention it Oblo.
I like the new strategy of only releasing proper news. I would hope the finals are released this Thursday.
IMO the wait has been well worth it and the reward is there for the patient.

CBB,
Turnover per share: ~0.0016, basic maths really! TPS would appear as 0.00 if restricted to two decimal places.
Nought marks for you my boy, go sit in the corner.

Does anyone know whether the USA company who are trialing Starpol for SEO would be honour bound to release an RNS to that effect?

And I bet you half an ounce of snout its that private yank company who provide packaging solutions to McDonalds and Pepsi. In which case we won't see an RNS anyway.

WalMart.
In 2004, we conducted more than 15,000 factory inspections that's an average of more than 40 a day.
We buy from over 61,000 U.S suppliers, supporting over 3 million suppliers jobs in the United States.
We export Illinois peanuts to our stores in Japan and Korea.
We export fruit juices from California and New York to Wal-Mart Argentina.

Yep. I've been looking on the walmart website and they have a major thing about environmentally freindly, but I'm a cynical old bugger, and wonder how much of that is PR and how much is real?
Still think its the shadowy ones.

SEO will be providing more than peanuts to its shareholders!
Next step though will probably be a share consolidation (which I don't entirely like in any company) If it's 1 for 10 that wouldn't be too bad but 1 for 1000 may wipe out blinger's holding!

Why do you think a consolidation? Not saying you're wrong, just wondered what made you think thats next.

Mainly because of the 'stigma' which institutions seem to be placing on penny shares, they think they are not 'repesctable' enough and prevent really serious investors from putting money into companies. A view that I think is a complete load of bo****ks, penny shares are more fun, therefore more attractive to a hell of a lot of people and for many other reasons apart from the obvious!

A recent consolidation was Osmetech, hasn't done a hell of a lot for the share price and hasn't changed the company or it's products, what it has done though is diluted a load of shareholders pocket money should the company reach dividend payment stage (dirty trick in my book, but that's shares and the stock market for you!)
