hilary - 29 Sep 2004 08:51 - 14891 of 23498

Morning Amber,

Don't worry, I haven't really got a watchtower.

:o)

Don't know Oxted too well, I'm afraid. I know the leisure centre and the cinema and there's a rather nice Chinese restaurant that I've been to a few times, normally with a friend who lives in Old Oxted. I know the shop in Warlingham that you mean, but I'm not sure what it's called.

Lucindas is a rip-off, imo, although I have had some nice jackets from her in the past. I normally end up being rude to her when I go in there! Have you tried Lizzy's at the bottom of Old Lodge Lane? She uses the same suppliers as Lucindas, but is a fraction of the price.

The fizzy bath was a long time ago. In those days, Hamptons was owned by Martin Redmann. I used to live in Chaldon, btw, which is how I know these things.

Hello all, Beautiful warm spring morning here in the Winelands of SA.

One hour ahead of UK and there isn't a cloud in the sky, I've got raging hay fever [ cortizone injection in my bum yesterday to hopefully sort it]
[[hay fever, not my bum]].

On the first tee in 30 mins. A challenge competition Paarl GC v a British Golfing Touring Society of Celebs and has beens. [Our team is ALL has beens!]

Mrs.lw has the fridge stocked with tubes of liquid refreshments and the wine cold cabinets are filled to the brim with this years Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin.
The best Cap Classique Champennoise Methiode Fizz is also ready;seven whole fillet lie marinading [cost 11 each] along with about five kilos of King Prawns [a gift from the lobster fisherman] and 16 Lobsters [2 each].

The pool is ay 74 degrees and 30 'ish hungry & thirsty souls will descend following tales of much misfortune and dame lady bad-luck,missed putts, when I was a young man [ a Parkinson favourite] bad bounce etc which meant that instead of breaking the course record their handicap did or should,in fact, go up two shots!

We shall get rid of them all at about 2am when the pool will resemble the Somme
both in colour and rubbish therein. There will, in all probability be items of apparell laying all over the place which no-one will claim or have any knowledge of; oh yes, and there is bound to be ONE odd sho or sandle.

There always is.
QUESTION: Who walks, drives, limps home on one leg apart from an amputee without missing it?? Guaranteed...it always, always happens.

But it will have been "Yet another Shit Day In Africa" as they say!!

Have a similar sort of great day everyone!

Have a good day everyone*******************************

Yes Opto, go to the dog house with Poochy today.

Hils, Phew but I knew u must have been in the area, yes remember Martin, must'av been a long time ago then! Agree with Lucindas, last time I went she kept passing me stuff to try on and funny enough I wanted to find my own stuff. Been to Lizzy's yes, normally get a little something for Xmas there.

chocolat - 29 Sep 2004 09:09 - 14895 of 23498

Hmmm...little will - I've been known to end up shoeless - s'pose that puts a new slant on being legless.
But it's ok, still got both of mine :)

jeffmack - 29 Sep 2004 09:18 - 14896 of 23498

Sounds like hell LW

Morning all

Interesting reading for anyone using Kazaa etc:

What is it?
W32/Bagle.az@MM is a Medium Risk mass-mailing worm that installs a Remote Access component that can provide hackers access to your computer. Carried inside an email attachment, the virus spreads by emailing itself to e-mail addresses found on your computer and copies itself to folders used by popular file-sharing programs such as KaZaa, Bearshare and Limewire. Like its predecessors, it also tries to terminate anti-virus and other security software protection.

Up-to-date McAfee VirusScan users with DAT 4395 are protected from this threat. Note: To fortify anti-virus defense against viruses that carry backdoor payloads, we recommend installing McAfee Personal Firewall Plus.

What should I look for?

SUBJECT: Re:, Re: Hello, Re: Thank you!, Re: Thanks :), Re: Hi

How do I know if I've been infected?

Communication Port 81 (TCP) open. Outgoing messages with noted body content and attachments.

How do I find out more?
