As far as I know it remains there and your last post could do with a touch up !! Good luck

EWRobson - 20 Jan 2005 18:32 - 142 of 274

Oakapples: I liked the 'last post' for petralva, but I don't think he/she deserved such harsh action!

Results appear pretty neutral: only slight rise of turnover re the second half of 2003/4; probably need to raise more cash before long; nothing about current trading and still no US distributor. Bioscan looks promising but commercial revenues are forecast for 2005/6.

Duly reprimanded Eric - I am still well in front with this one so may well settle for "The Last Post". However, I will probably hold as I am reminded each night as I sleep walk to the loo - that I am sponsoring research that might bring me uninterrupted sleep.

robstuff - 21 Jan 2005 11:32 - 144 of 274

Not impreseed by the results - expected much better and more news, can't see the sp improving so have sold. May consider again in the future but am changing my strategy to co's making a profit and not requiring extra funds every yr.

A wise move.

andysmith - 21 Jan 2005 13:28 - 146 of 274

One to put away in your portfolio and wait, clearly has huge potential but many not prepared to wait. I've mistakenly got impatient before and baled only to see decent recovery later. I'm holding on this one and may even top up once the bottom becomes clear. Still up at the moment, just!!

overgrowth - 21 Jan 2005 19:33 - 147 of 274

Wise move andy - annoucement of US and China deals will give us much more than a decent recovery, it will put MDW on the first rung out of the small cap. trader's penny share bracket.

Not much longer to wait methinks...meanwhile short-termers will sell out and provide a great buying opportunity - check out the expiry dates of T20 trades as this will be a prime time to buy (with the exception that news overrides everything and good news on deals will see the price rapidly in the mid teens IMHO).

andysmith - 21 Jan 2005 20:45 - 148 of 274

overgrowth, I'm not a pro at this by any means so won't be able to check out T20 trades or anything, maybe you can keep me updated. I bet the buyer at 12p the other day is pissed off!! For now, holding, not even considering jumping ship and may top-up.

john50 - 21 Jan 2005 21:12 - 149 of 274

I have been in and out since Jan 03, bought in early November for 6.50p will be here for 1.

optomistic - 21 Jan 2005 22:07 - 150 of 274

John, good to see that positive outlook, I would be very happy with 1 but would cheerfully acept 50p. I like the company and think it has great potential but they must get their products into the field, not sure they are working hard enough at that, if they are they are not saying much about it.

Iain - 22 Jan 2005 15:27 - 151 of 274

In for quite a few at avereage 9.Holding and quite optomistic:-)

optomistic - 22 Jan 2005 19:25 - 152 of 274

Iain, only I am optomistic but I am happy that you are optimistic :-))

EWRobson - 23 Jan 2005 19:30 - 153 of 274

optomistic

Are you optomistic because your optics are misted up? If not, what is the reason? Does it effect the balance of your judgement re MDW? The Pattern Trading System said that longterm holders should sell onthe 17th which would have been good advice. Didn't read it until 20th so still in. Charts look a little worrying. My concern, after the MLS (Medical Solutions) experience is that the doctor's are good at identifying needs and inventions but not so good at the marketing.

Hi Eric,

The charts are merely a reflection of short term traders who believe that they've sussed the secret of getting 25% gains on MDW. Expect lots of deramping from them over the next couple of weeks lol!

Lots of folks are hoping to buy in at 6-7p again and then sell at 10-11p after rumours of news.

The problem for these guys is that since the last trading opportunities, there are many longer term holders who have bought into MDW, so I believe that this will create support at around the current price (all those who were going to sell will have now done so - just before or just after results).

The key to the next rise will be news on either the China/Hong Kong approval or the US ditribution deal. My feeling is that both are very close indeed and as time progresses, the likelihood of one of these being announced increases significantly. Buying will become apparent gradually when those keen for a slice of the action to come realise that the price isn't going to hit anywhere near 6-7p again.

Towards the end of last year MDW made two major announcements at around the same time - the same could happen here.

Regarding marketing, from what I can see this board are shrewd in business and the way they are gradually moving into all global markets is impressive. They are a respected exporter in the East Midlands, and have been highlighted by many trade and government bodies as a "flagship" exporter.

I believe that the distribution companies help a great deal in marketing products - this is why these deals are so critical to MDW's success - and hence the delay in making sure that the US deal is exactly right.

All the best

OG

og

Thanks a lot. I did switch out of of some this morning at a loss but only because SEO had sign-posted an sp breakthrough; already made up the MDW loss. Will hold the remainder and wathc for opportunities to add. Agree the significance of the US distributor because there is loads of lolly there.

Some buying and a bit of blue...

overgrowth - 01 Feb 2005 22:36 - 157 of 274

Hmmm...An interesting stirring - I wonder if one of the deals is due to be announced soon ?

seb190774 - 07 Feb 2005 10:35 - 158 of 274

what is happening with mediwatch ? does anyone know wha is the potential of this company? what would be the sp by the end of this year ? does anyone have any views on this share as i have invested and thinking about selling the shares

all traders

zscrooge - 07 Feb 2005 14:13 - 159 of 274

168k buy

jules - you interested here?

overgrowth - 07 Feb 2005 20:44 - 160 of 274

seb - hang on tight to those shares !

MM's don't have much spare stock and they know there's an announcement due soon - have you seen the spread - they don't want anyone to buy just now because they want to sell at a much higher price when news breaks.

When this one moves it'll be shooting up past 20p very rapidly.

Potential is huge - US/China deals on the verge of being ironed out, global marketplace increasing due to an ageing population and increased health awareness, and lots more exciting stuff in the pipeline.

Longer term we're looking at 1+ (and I'm being serious!).
