I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

I like round numbers, so just wanted to post number 1600 on this thread!
As for CWV, I remain confident, and feel that patience will reward us. The upside from these levels far outweighs the downside risk IMHO, particularly given the huge cash balance this company holds in the bank.

Strange to see a MM buy of 100k thats the first one I have seen for six months.
We are nearly at the half way mark, CMS have generally delivered on future
forecasts lets hope they keep it up.

I have just been adding to my holding at less than the M/M buy.
Dont know why the M/m bought at that price. Any one know who the M/M was?

Final comment as i know longer have a significant holding. Todays news was more or less on the cards as they had not landed a single contract during the past 6 months. In fact its been almost 16 months since the last major contract. Price imho will return back to the 4p level where it will probably stay until a TDI contract is signed. Reading beween the lines of todays statement, i wouldnt expect to much for the remainder of the year. CMS as i have commented earlier are going to find signing contracts very very tough. And being a company with a cap a few million only adds to the problem.

Yes very disappointing news.
Before we all turn out the lights on this thread, current market cap is 4.8m as against cash pile at 31/12/03 of 3.3m. Say they have spent 500k of that - is the substantive business really only worth 2m??
Looks like a v attractive takeover target now.

Morning fellas,
The fundamentals of the company are still sound. I'm not sure things are reallythat bad as yet, the large contracts that CMS are looking to sign always drag out for longer than expected due to delays in capex etc. I beleive if they don't gain any contracts in the second half then we may be more inclined to worry a little. Kurt Klein was only employed a month ago in the US so that will only just be coming into full swing. Of course that is only my opinion!

Well havin gwatched the non performance of this share over several months I did feel the reaction was a little over the top. The news is coming out which is a good thing, rather than no news at all which is how so many smaller companes seem to do business. The losses are still reducing though not to break even. A sale or two will change that.
Yesterday i averaged down a little, it may go down to 4 but a believe like biscuit that the sales will come ad the price will respond.

Been in this for a while now and the closer we got to 30th June without an announcement, the more it dropped. They were expecting one TDI in 1st half and 5 in 2nd. This may look optimistic but the update said they were exploring a number of leads. One TDI will make the price jump. I can't see it dropping below 4p. I backed it at 10p and so would be looking to get a few more at 4p.

Agree chaps, disappointing news, but glad of some news.
I'm very reluctant to sell at these levels, given the downside from here has got to be limited with the cash in the bank.
Agree with previous posts regarding patience. We're not really giving the US sales director time to warm his seat!
I remain a holder.

I have taken the chance and topped up twice with these over the last couple of days.I still see them as a good medium term hold. One new contract will see a big rise, and while we are waitng(its early days for USA and nothing in europe) the other side of the company is generating an incresing income. time will tell but I am still definatly in.

Theres one sin that you do not commit in the market and that is to promise then not deliver. CE and broker comfirmed not many months ago that they were happy with there targets of completing 1 deal during the first half and 4 deals during the second half. My take, from the statement is that the deal expected in the first half didnt lead to anything, rather than still on going.
Market is telling cms that it is not expecting any deals this year.It would also be very interesting to know their current and future cash burn rate.Looking at the volumes i dont think the institutions who bought into the placing are selling yet. But i would imagine there pretty p****d and will probably give cms another 12-18 months to deliver some more contracts. If they havent delivered by then it would have been almost 3 years since the last signing, and by then company would probably have received an offer.

In business size does matter and they dont come much smaller than cms webview. Market is currently valuing the business at 2.4p p/s. Thats 0.6p less than before all the hype and placing of last year.

Having bought into this one with a longer term view, I am happy to hold.
The statement was still quite bullish from the CEO. It merely moved the profitability target date out. The story remains the same, that TDI's are a big earner, and when they hit, they will radically effect the companys' results.
I very much still expect them to get those contracts!
IMHO this is now very oversold. The market does punish announcements like June 30, but that also provides opportunities for investors.
All IMHO.

Actually price looks to be heading south again 6.2/6.8p. People still dumping this stock. BH may take a T10/20) at 4p. ( cash value).7p seems tops people are prepared to offer, puts a cap on upside .Downside is probably cash value.
Dead cat bounce occured yesterday when the price was dropped to 4.5p/ 5.5p and closed at 6.5p. imho expect 5p to be tested very soon with a final drop to 4p.

Hi, TSQ and other holders
I invested in cms nov03 (no help from suehelens posts) I am now sitting on a loss of around 13k, everyday I have looked at the price falling, yet I have not sold out because the price has fell ever since making my loss to much, Yet the long Ive held this stock Ive become more confident that this will go back up a lot further in time so Ive decided to log off as of Monday and concentrate on my job and spending more time with the family, I wish all genuine holders good luck and will see you all next year.

Hi Markp, You should note that I did give my reasons for CWV and the reasons...all the prophetX contracts did come but the expected TDI contract did not come. I reiterated that a month ago on the CWV thread as well. Do you put Shares Magazine in that category who had a prediction of 20 pence for CWV couple of months ago ?
Geographical, political and economical situations change as well and stocks are in favour at some points and sometimes they are note. That is another thing to bear in mind. Just look at the rally in all the resouce stocks in March this year on the back of rising gold prices and all those stocks have retreated significantly since.
PS. I don't mean to boast but you have not mentioned all the risers I have picked since Christmas where if someone had followed me must have made hundreds of percentage of gains. I'm mystified as well, why that happens? When some are quick to point out stocks which have retreated even though I mention when I sell out and give my reasons and don't mention the 1000% gain and more put all together on all my picks since Christmas. What about the 250% gain some must have made after my recommendation at 7 pence and they went up to 22 pence ??? When I sold CWV at 15 pence the price was still at that level for four whole weeks which left plenty of opportunities for those who took my advice and bought could have sold as well when I did.
CHR +100%
NEB +80%
DOC +30%
CDN +25%
AFG +200%
MDW +50%
BGY +125%
PMD +200%
WHOG +200%
HST +50%
CFP +150%
CWV +250%
Sorry but if you think my action was bitter on CWV then just have a look around on the threads on MONEYAM and see the price predictions and how the posters have disappeared. Unlike, I try to give my reasons for whatever action so those who bought in with me could atleast sell at the same time. I'm sure if you go back on the CWV thread back before Christmas you will see my reasons.
Just look at Colt this week and how it was touted as a takeover target here at 85 pence three weeks ago and now at 47 pence. No updates on that thread for investors who may have bought on the touted takeover rumours.
Even on my thread on CDN last week when I was on holiday there was all kind of slanging on myself on the thread when the price was having red days, followed by four days of good rises which took the price even higher before the red days and there were hardly any posts when the price was rising. Why does that happen ?
PS. Where are all the other posters who were touting these shares back in November last year, none of them have appeared since the rise tailed off to give their postion in this stock, whether they have sold, reasons etc.
I always state on my threads when I buy and sell giving reasons as well at the exact time when my action occurs which you will see not many will do.
Regards.

Well put Sue Helen-if over 18 they should be responsible for actions BUY/SELL or maybe they forgot who gave recommendation and thought it must be Sue Helen or maybe forgot to follow your posts. How about putting a flashing RISK WARNING on all recommendations- THIS COULD DAMAGE YOUR WEALTH ;)))lol
