I suppose they'll do the AGM statement as they did last year once the AGM has started. I think is was half year end last week also so the statement should give a nice update.

The RNS promises much, with comments such as on the cusp. Talks at the highest level of negotiations, the opportunity to demonstrate to a senior contingent of the Wal Mart meat team a commercial installation of GREENSEAL currently being trialled at Grampian Foods. The update on interests in frogpack ,the challenge re RF sealing been met and overcome, and so on.
Without a positive statement such as contract to be signed, roll out of certain number of machines etc, this won't push the sp up wards. My comments may be taken as negative, but they are not meant to be as I am even more confident in the now not to distant future. Will be nice to see the write ups from AGM attendees late today.

Tomorrow's jam will be Greensealed, Starpolled, CradleWrapped and dropped from a helicopter into supermarkets, in a FrogPack. Yes more promises and expecations but there is a certain air of confidence that has not been quite so apparent before. We'll get there!

Having read it properly, it is very encouraging, and I can't think of any other share where a statement like that would not ignite the sp. But this is SEO, with a history of promises and no fulfillment, yet.
I am still a very happy holder, and get very excited when I read of senior level negotiations with some of the worlds biggest companies, and of SEO having the opportunity to present, on WM's behalf, to WM suppliers.
But, on a note of caution, I read that the vertical filling packaging was not as complex and full of problems as the tray lidding. This is the first time, to my knowledge that SEO have acknowledged tray lidding to have any problems other than tooling. Or am I being picky?
Also, why no update on the filter tow? Is it being quietly forgotten? I would have thought that if cradlewrap, frogpack and other obscure sidelines were worthy of update, then surely the filters were.

I think the initial responses here are on the ball. I find the statements made credible and the difficulty of the process is not understated. JJS (/PM) is justified in the claim regarding the WalMart meat visit and the Perseco potential is spect out. A couple of references could be the continuance of over-optimism but support the air of activity and negotiation. Should support the current sp and attract some institutional support on a longer term basis.

Alan: tooling is a pretty all-embracing term; the fact that they were demonstrating to WalMart at Gardiners is positive though and demonstates that ASDA are confident enough to join in the marketing effort to their parent. As I recall, they gave themselves 6 months to negotiate the filter business; not of the same order of importance as Greenseal and Starpol so not the time to comment. presumably will come up in questions.

I seldom disagree with you Eric, but on this occasion I will!!!
If the statement is read as full steam ahead, big things around the corner, then we should also read it as big investment of time and resources to create a worldwide product that is lucrative and long term.
Investment in the future requires lots of cash and there is no mention anywhere of the auction process or Quantum. These are the 2 income streams that might help finance what looks like exponential growth.
I'm not unduly concerned, but I would have thought that the financing of such growth was as much a major consideration in the business plan as finding the customers and getting the technology right.
perhaps I'm being overly pessimistic.

SEO are certainly busy with thirteen products on the go and now Starpol Wrap and Frog Mat what ever that is with all this surly some thing must happen over the coming months happy to hold.

And now I have written it. I do think this is very exciting, and could lead to the first revenue income for Stanelco. Exciting meetings next week, and we could be on schedule as per the EVO report, for some deals by the summer :)
