Must be a school in Liverpool. They teach them to run so they can get away from the store dectectives when they go shoplifting

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 16:24 - 16622 of 23498

2 hrs to travel 7 miles to pick up 7 sheets of hardboard and you think you have traffic problems down south.
Never mind tea I'm ready for a Guiness please:-)

Priscilla - 22 Oct 2004 16:26 - 16623 of 23498

Rural bus services don't sound great round your way, opto......

stockbunny - 22 Oct 2004 16:28 - 16624 of 23498

Guiness on the way Opto! Yes that sounds more like our traffic problems
then what I would expect in your neck of the woods!

jj50 - 22 Oct 2004 16:28 - 16625 of 23498

Think bunny may be working on her CV so shall pour you a Guiness opto. Delivery might have worked out cheap.

Is your son the one in the middle hils? He looks determined :-)

jj50 - 22 Oct 2004 16:29 - 16626 of 23498

Bunny beat me to it... :-)

hilary - 22 Oct 2004 16:29 - 16627 of 23498

Did you do it one sheet at a time, Opto?

:o)

stockbunny - 22 Oct 2004 16:30 - 16628 of 23498

LOL JJ - no I'm still here pouring the Guiness except I need broad
band!! It takes it seems minutes not seconds for my replies to get there!

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 16:31 - 16629 of 23498

Priscilla I have a tricycle with a trailer, with such a wide load it made it difficult to get through the traffic. I am a quick peddeler, especially downhill.

hilary - 22 Oct 2004 16:31 - 16630 of 23498

No, jj. He's 3rd from the front in the yellow and black vest. Unfortunately, he's obscured a little bit in that piccie.

hilary - 22 Oct 2004 16:33 - 16631 of 23498

Opto,

You've conjured up a vision of something from "Last of the Summer Wine". Do you know Nora Batty?

:o)

Socrates - 22 Oct 2004 16:36 - 16632 of 23498

Hello.

stockbunny - 22 Oct 2004 16:37 - 16633 of 23498

Afternoon Socs!

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 16:38 - 16634 of 23498

Hilary, not as well as Compo he was Nora's favourite.

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 16:39 - 16635 of 23498

Hello Socs. That name sounds like a character from that prog as well :-)

This_is_me - 22 Oct 2004 16:42 - 16636 of 23498

opto

That is not bad: 7 miles in your wheelbarrow in 2 hours. That is faster than the flat caps drive in their cars on a clear motorway.

daves dazzlers - 22 Oct 2004 16:46 - 16637 of 23498

H,on your camera, there should be a button on there to adjust the shutter speed,,,you will need to make it faster 250,min 400 would be great for the action scenes,,,it would fuzz the background out.

hilary - 22 Oct 2004 16:49 - 16638 of 23498

Thanks Dazzling D. My husband took the shots and he does realise that he should have taken them faster. He tends to just leave it on 100 for nincompoops like me to use.

:o)

optomistic - 22 Oct 2004 16:50 - 16639 of 23498

Hi Double D, how's your airline?
T.I.M. We can make those wheels move!!

daves dazzlers - 22 Oct 2004 16:54 - 16640 of 23498
