Bought in today... have missed out on the impressive gains so far but solid progress is being made here and a good story developing so it looks good for more gains in the near future (imho)....

Quindell Portfolio, the brand extension company, says trading has continued positively in the period under review, building on the strong performance delivered by the Group in the first half.

The company expects to be significantly ahead of market expectations for the 15 month period ending 31 December 2011.

The Group announced back in October that it had won contracts with six established brands and one exciting new digital brand within the insurance, telecoms and utilities sectors, including for the first time, solar energy; and that revenues for 2011 were expected to be ahead of market expectations.

Since then, the Group has won further major contracts with established brands within the telecoms, utilities, on-line education and insurance sectors for both its technology enabled business process outsourcing division and software solutions division.

In aggregate, these contract wins could contribute over £6 million of annualised revenues. In addition, the Group has acquired two further businesses, Maine Finance and, most recently, Mobile Doctors Group Plc.

Margin performance has also been strong and, for 2011, margins are expected to be between 35 and 40 per cent. within its technology enabled business process outsourcing operations

HARRYCAT - 07 Jan 2015 16:54 - 1684 of 1965

Latest increase was on the 30th Dec.

Hmmm - there's been a reasonable increase in volume (see post 1674) since the New year - interesting times!

86 / 87p would seem to be the first hurdle.

Worth a quick read:

Quindell Shares Surge After Toscafund Snaps Up 5% Stake
Thu, 8th Jan 2015 06:56

LONDON (Alliance News) - Quindell PLC closed up by around a third on Wednesday after a filing to the London Stock Exchange showed that UK hedge fund Toscafund Asset Management LLP snapped up a stake of just over 5% in the business.

Shares in the insurance claims processing company closed up 30% at 70.00 pence after Toscafund bought a 5.4% stake in the company, valued at around GBP12 million. The acquisition of the stake makes Toscafund the second-largest institutional shareholder in the company, according to Morningstar, behind Prudential PLC.

The Financial Times said the investment is understood to have surprised market observers, coming ahead of the release of an independent report into the company's main accounting policies and cash generation. The paper quotes one analyst saying he was "absolutely gobsmacked", adding "it really is a punt when there's a review under way".

What day is the PWC report due to be released?

midknight - 08 Jan 2015 12:46 - 1695 of 1965

Did we or do we really need a new thread? I thought this one
was chugging along nicely, with comments from the regulars
visible when required... plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose!

HARRYCAT - 08 Jan 2015 12:53 - 1696 of 1965

This one is fine. Banjomick is on a crusade for a bit of attention seeking. I have a feeling that it won't last.

midknight - 08 Jan 2015 12:54 - 1697 of 1965

Well HC. we'll just stick to this one...
