optomistic - 24 Jul 2007 09:34 - 17261 of 24230

Hello Choccy, how's you doing?

Socrates - 24 Jul 2007 09:34 - 17262 of 24230

So it's hot Chocolat then?

Socrates - 24 Jul 2007 09:38 - 17263 of 24230

Not a sleep-in Opto. Doing some research to find out where water is going to be placed for us. No mains water since yesterday, only have what we stored, not hoarded huge amounts, just saved a bit for washing, drinking etc.

optomistic - 24 Jul 2007 09:41 - 17264 of 24230

Sounds like a difficult time Socco, hope it is soon resolved for you and the many others.

Socrates - 24 Jul 2007 09:54 - 17265 of 24230

Most difficulty will be lack of water for proper washing so might be pestered by a cloud of flies for a while. Also washing of clothes will be a tad inconvenient. Essentials only will be tackled, and that will be by hand. You know the sort of thing, bash it on a rock down at the river, except that the river is dirtier than the clothes at present.

stockbunny - 24 Jul 2007 10:04 - 17266 of 24230

5 I'm bid any advance on 5?
;>)

optomistic - 24 Jul 2007 10:09 - 17267 of 24230

Well Socco all those clothes in stock will come in useful. I must buy another shirt, don't think two is enough of and some more socks as well. No danger of flooding where I am but it brings home the problems when the water is turned off and that can happen anywhere.
Toilet must be the major problem, need a good supply of water in stock to keep topping up the tank I would think.

Hi guys :)
Afraid I'm still lozzacking at the moment.
The only positive side to being horizontal these last 4 weeks is that I haven't got wet once ;)

optomistic - 24 Jul 2007 10:49 - 17272 of 24230

Hi Choccy, hope you are soon back on your feet, 4 weeks is a long time. That is except for K who seems to have no trouble being horizontal :-)

stockbunny - 24 Jul 2007 10:51 - 17273 of 24230

Bluelady - 24 Jul 2007 11:05 - 17274 of 24230
