Socrates - 26 Jul 2007 16:46 - 17362 of 24230

Quite often by the looks of him!

Socrates - 26 Jul 2007 16:47 - 17363 of 24230

Lives in a flat now.

optomistic - 26 Jul 2007 16:48 - 17364 of 24230

Bluelady - 27 Jul 2007 00:07 - 17367 of 24230

So who is up for the same drinking session as the other night?

Socrates - 27 Jul 2007 07:26 - 17368 of 24230

Good morning all. Socco up bright and early to top up with water from the bowser that has been refilled overnight.

Dow down 311 last night so market will be "interesting" today.

optomistic - 27 Jul 2007 08:47 - 17369 of 24230

Morning Socco, kangaroos, rabbits, lambs and the rest.
Teas on.

Bluelady - 27 Jul 2007 08:48 - 17370 of 24230

I guess I am the rest, lol.

optomistic - 27 Jul 2007 08:53 - 17371 of 24230

Looks like it Blue, I'll pour :-)

Bluelady - 27 Jul 2007 08:58 - 17372 of 24230

Many thanks optomistic.

Good morning Socrates, sun is also up bright and early, trust you are keeping well and enjoying being able to wash your smelly armpits ;0).

Spaceman - 27 Jul 2007 09:19 - 17373 of 24230

Morning all good to see we have some kangaroos visiting again, bit of a shame about that one that was a bit flat ;-)

Lamby just asked where all the other ones are that were posting earlier in the week, he wants to speak to them.

Nice and bright and sunny in Hastings this morning....

Socrates - 27 Jul 2007 10:15 - 17374 of 24230

Smelly armpits, how dare you madam! I am spotless, odourless, dustproof and anti-magnetic although I must admit I may catch fire at any time.

Since I am here I will stop for the odd gallon of tea, water of the drinking sort being a bit short at home.

Bluelady - 27 Jul 2007 10:30 - 17375 of 24230

Gosh Socrates, I thought it was water for everything else which was in short supply, not drinking water.

Socrates - 27 Jul 2007 11:14 - 17376 of 24230

It's all relative Bluelady. We have made certain we have enough drinking water but we do have to use it for other purposes too. Just to flush the loo takes 7 litres. By the time washing, washing up, washing clothes and cooking etc. are taken into account, you can see how it adds up. It can be quite difficult when there is nothing coming out of the taps.

Bluelady - 27 Jul 2007 11:19 - 17377 of 24230

Socrates, it must be difficult to have no water coming from taps at all. When I was very small there was a drought in one of the countries in which I lived but at least the water did come on sporadically throughout the day

Keaydian, not that I would ever suggest you slim down but I read this and thought of you ;0).

Oh er.

Bluelady - 27 Jul 2007 15:24 - 17379 of 24230

Keaydian, will a pint or two if guinness loosen your tongue?

KEAYDIAN - 27 Jul 2007 15:42 - 17380 of 24230

Hmmm, let's find out.
