If we've got this one right, that's 6 out of 6 on these moves/trading - that in itself is a worry!!

Long term problems not gone away
- gearing 48%
- operations negative cashflow
- potential dilution of 100%
- 10% dilution of company at 588p, bonds become reedemable
- margins falling
- competitors margins higher and a better offering
- no assets to fall back upon
- potential new technology being offered by competitors
- tax to kick in at 30%
The storys no different from yesterday, its still way overated.

not saying you're wrong, but will need to gauge mood of the market to decide what to do next

i'm batting for you kitos! ...... now hoping that SOLA will surge (already up to 328) on the back of some bear squeezing.

Probably a good opportunity to set up a few trailing stop losses?

i shall take money off the table before go and just stay in touch with broker by phone ...... trailing losses can be a bit of a pain in volatile markets as you can suddenly find yourself stopped out by a briefly distorted spread or similar.

SOLA's figures certainly seem to be disappointing big time ...... took out a smallish short this morning, though could not get in higher than 326 (closed 360+ last night) ...... market is always very harsh on companies that do not deliver, and i suspect that they will be doubly so on this bunch, given that it is a NEWCO and run out of China, which is not exactly flavour of the month

hardly! .... been battered quite badly like everyone else, but fortunately had taken a lot off the table in recent weeks ...... big sigh of relief at the mo, tho it is tempered by a short i am still running on Dow, but given that i am long everywhere else (bar here!), it's not a bad bit of insurance ...... can't believe for a moment that we are suddenly back in green (blue?) pastures

to be honest, i did not think Dow would pierce 13250, but clearly F/E was very strong o'night, so indications rushed it up a further 90 points ..... this has now drifted back 40 odd but still at 13300
hope you are not still running SOLA

Looks like this is the beginning of a falling knife for SOLA.
