Well as a de facto cash shell they have to do something before April or just return the money to shareholders, and that would only be around 0.2p per share max, so if they are planning to do something then your timescales would be around correct.
Financing, whichever way with the present price it will be a struggle and a wipe out for DMR holders do you not think ? They are not UK registered so they can do whatever they want on takeovers and how to fund it.
Not convinced at the moment, will keep watching for developments.

The stone assets would be sold with all other assets, they are very unclear on what is to be sold off (just say everything) and what is to be paid off with those proceeds, all they say is that after selling everything and paying off everything they think they can transfer back 400K.

Fair enough PapalPower.
Thanks for your input.

Selling everything does not include the stone deposits.

It is an interesting story and worth keeping an eye on to see what happens, just in case it does turn for the good and up.

It does as it says the Groups SA assets will be reliased and after paying the bills they hope 400K back, the assets are everything, including the stone, everything to be sold off is what they say.

Dimension Resources Limited
Chairman's Statement
Year Ended 31 December 2004
I regret to report that the Group's activities, which comprised the quarrying
and processing of dimension stone, ceased in December 2004. Arrangements have been made for the Group's South African assets to be realised, the local
creditors to be paid and the balance to be remitted back to the United Kingdom.
Following these realisations, the directors have been advised that the Company
will receive approximately 400,000, which is broadly in accordance with the
current share price.

That same statement also says this, which would be a concern;
For the future the Directors are examining new projects to be injected into the
Company. When a suitable project is identified it is likely that the acquisition
will constitute a reverse acquisition and will require a new Admission Document
and shareholder approval. In this context, however, the Company, as a company registered in Bermuda and managed outside the United Kingdom, is not subject to the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers. In principle the Directors favour a project in the natural resources sector in Africa, but any project with the
potential to restore value for shareholders will be considered.

But will watch with interest in case there are some twists and turns as you suspect and something happens that is positive and could boost the SP.

Very encouraged to see MMs taking in 1.10 million in sells today at the 0.30 pence price. That has not happened before and more surprising check the online buy limit at a few instances today which remained at just 75,000 shares.
Nice to see the sellers out....looking forward to more rises and possible news next week.
Have a good weekend all.

Hi Balli again, Your 75,000 buy did come through at 0.39 pence. Trades over 18,000 shares are delayed in reporting by 1 hour. Normal Market Size is 3,000 * 6 = 18,000.

Level 2 closed at 1 v 1 on Friday at 0.30 - 0.40 pence.
Good price for anyone looking to buy.....remembering MMs charged someone 300,000 shares 0.50 pence on Wednesday. Though online max buy limit is still only 75,000 shares.
The market makers took in 1.10 million in sells at 0.30 pence on Friday and they took 750,000 in sells at 0.30 pence earlier in the week. Bodes well for next leg-up. Over the week there were more sells than buys....the price opened the week at 0.20-0.35 pence and closed at 0.30-0.40 pence.
0.40 pence on the offer could be a spoof again IMHO!!!

Thanks to another poster on another site:
'Over the week there were more sells than buys....the price opened the week at 0.20-0.35 pence and closed at 0.30-0.40 pence.'
If the buying in the low base area below .25 (AND BEFORE IT) were met by short selling, the mm's would need to cover that by buying stock. they might also want to buy to supply any demand resulting from news.
Although the delays resulting from paper-based settlement in bermuda have, in the past, been unusually favourable for short sellers, (and might be a factor in the long, long decline) news of cash proceeds, and, in particular, an acquisition, might force a 'cut off' point in time where the settlement position would need to be 'sorted,' perhaps with a date by which shareholders would need to be on the register
in order to benefit from a deal.
Trying to cover any residual short position before that point could fuel any rise on news perceived as favourable in a spectacular way.
Investec's suggested short-term target of 1.42p seems increasingly realistic.

You're ramping is the most desperate i've ever seen on advfn.
I do like your use of the "IMHO" word, you've never been honest on a
bb in your life, you dont realise how much time you waste on these bb's
as nobody will believe a word you say, i would never buy a stock you were
ramping op23.

Another 550,000 in sells at the 0.30 pence absorbed by the Market Makers today on top of the 1.15 million at this price on Friday.
Why are the MMs acumulating all this stock Mackem....is it because the price is going to surge north soon again ???
PS. Nice to see you again after your disappearance last week when the price was rising. That was nothing compared to what is coming.
Not seen MMs take in 1.65 million in sells over two trading days at the 0.30 pence ever before in DMR.
Just the 100,000 buy reported at 0.39 pence.

Interesting...are these about to rocket.
Last Monday the price was 0.20-0.35 pence...today it is 0.30-0.40 pence. The price has held onto the 30% odd rise yet we have had more sells than buys from last Monday up to and including today. That seems to be a bullish signal. Very difficult to buy more than 75,000 shares...yes very difficult to buy more than 300 quids worth mackem (so if someone manages to get 390 quids worth...then that is something to mention) yet easy to sell any number of shares.

Investtech Update - from Yesterday.

Neutral (Medium term) - Oct 31, 2005 Analysis Explanation
Has broken the ceiling of the falling trend, which indicates a slower initial falling rate. Has given positive signal from a inverse head and shoulders formation by a break up through the resistance at 0.22. Further rise to 1.42 or more is signaled. The stock has broken down through the support at p 0.35. This predicts a further decline. In case of positive reactions, there will now be resistance at p 0.35. The poor liquidity of the the stock (traded 77% of the days, mean 0.14 mill per day) may weaken the analysis. The stock is overall assessed as technically neutral for the medium long term.
