THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Tanker,

I am beginning to think of you as the Abu Hamza of Moneyam.

I wonder what I think you have in common?

Chris Carson - 27 Sep 2012 16:11 - 18483 of 81564

Not before time :- Car insurance market referred to Competition Commission

The market for car insurance has been referred to the Competition Commission for investigation on the basis that it is not working well for motorists.

The Office of Fair Trading (OFT) made the referral because it was worried the structure of the market was making costs and premiums unnecessarily high.

It found that insurers of "at-fault" drivers had no control over the amount spent on repairs or replacement vehicles by "not-at-fault" drivers.

The Commission has two years to report.

Plastic debris reaches Southern Ocean, previously thought to be pristine

The first traces of plastic debris have been found in what was thought to be the pristine environment of the Southern Ocean, according to a study released in London by the French scientific research vessel Tara.

The finding comes following a two-and-a-half-year, 70,000-mile voyage by the schooner across the Atlantic, Pacific, Antarctic and Indian Oceans, to investigate marine ecosystems and biodiversity under climate change.

Hardly a surprise Lewis Hamilton to leave McLaren for Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton is to leave McLaren after signing to race for Mercedes from next season.
The move, predicted by BBC Sport earlier this month, will be announced on Friday and will have huge repercussions throughout Formula 1.

It has forced Michael Schumacher out of Mercedes but it it is not clear whether the German legend will go back into retirement or look for another team.

How long is he going to get? Perhaps a couple of months, and then reemployed to do the same!!?

ExecLine - 28 Sep 2012 15:28 - 18492 of 81564

He's now scheduled for quite a lot of incarceration, I would think.

He could get 5 yrs in the slammer. I guess his marriage is also over. No more teaching maths (unless they let him do it in jail) and an entry in the sex offenders list sounds like a certainty too.

Despite him being apportioned ALL of the blame, I wonder who made all the running with this relationship. Once they have grown their equipment, young ladies often want to start using it. Some of them can be extremely provocative and persistent too.

ahoj - 28 Sep 2012 15:33 - 18493 of 81564

So, do you mean it is natural for ladies to exercise their right, and the guy was probably under pressure.

She has many tattoos, too early for this age!!! I don't like it anyway.

''Once they have grown their equipment, young ladies often want to start using it. Some of them can be extremely provocative and persistent too''.

Can't say I encountered problems like that. So where the bloody hell was I.

ahoj
She probably didn't have them done for you. Ha! Ha!

ahoj - 28 Sep 2012 15:43 - 18495 of 81564

Yep, agreed.
By natural, I meant the majority of girls approve it, not you, Ha Ha!

She may used this to become a celebrity. Sell stories to newspapers, etc....
If that's the case, she wasted public sector money and should be punished too. Wasted police time to look for her around the world.

TANKER - 28 Sep 2012 16:55 - 18496 of 81564

why do you posters think they have done anything wrong .
all men are not like that some are de scent people .

Fred1new - 28 Sep 2012 18:15 - 18497 of 81564

Both would appear naive and behaved daftly.

If they has waited until her 16 the birthday, the age difference would have been the same.

The affair probably wouldn't have made the headlines.

What a horrendous crime!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I would prefer in this case from superficial information to consider it "stupid".

Stan - 28 Sep 2012 18:27 - 18498 of 81564

A case of "Short of News Week".

Fred1new - 29 Sep 2012 09:59 - 18499 of 81564

Can see the media once again are behaving like vultures and scavengers with a piece of "meat".

Interesting to what the Leveson findings will be.

ahoj - 29 Sep 2012 10:10 - 18500 of 81564

The media likes negative news and most people just read and accept. They do not think the media may misrepresent or manipulate stories for the sake of business only.

That's why you see Youtube, Facebook and Google are becoming more popular and better source of information.
