This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.
Heres the latest news from Killik stocbrokers on the company..........
MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture
We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.
Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.
This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)
The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.
Please DYOR
cheers GF.

I am sitting on a loss at the moment but thats my fault because i could have banked a fat profit instead of topping up my holding. It has taught me a lesson though bank my profit earlier and leave some for the next person.
I still think these are good bet for the future and DB is building a good solid foundation for this company to build on in the future and maximize revenue.
The recent announcement that John Hustler was leaving his position as part time finance director and his position being filled fulltime by Rob Sprawson in October ,shows that MMG are positioning themselves for negotiations in the future.
Rob Sprawson has gained experience in providing strategic financial advice to technology based companies including those in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
I`m no expert but given Rob Sprawson doesn`t take up his position until October and negotiation are not done overnight, its going to be a few more months yet maybe an early Christmas present ,we can but hope.

MMG are still saying they will have between 10-11 products in the clinic by year end 2005.
They currently have 4.(1 having completed Phase I/II).
Thats a few big announcements between now and year end (4 months) not including any possible licencing deals .
Looking at valuation methods will show, the value of a drug leaps to about 30% of market value when progressing from pre-clinic to Phase 1.
All the cancer trials will enter Phase I/II.

Very positive then Pete if what you say comes to friutition.
Some people are getting very negative about MMG ,investing really should be about the long term potential and there are a few people being negative that haven`t held this for very long.
This ship is not sinking it has just weighed anchor, it will soon set sail again and it will be full steam ahead.
IMHO

Hi All,
Nothing on my grapevine ....
We have one big client who is long, but now trading the ups and downs, rahter than watching them, helping to cause much of the volatility over the last 3-4 weeks I think ....
Cheers,

Yes ,good point mitzy!
Paul you told me to post my email address through your SEO website and you would send me the brokers note but all i get though is updated on SEO.
A rise 2 days running, what is going on with MMG. Don`t hold your breath just yet and keep those bottom draws firmly shut for the time being.
Keep the faith

Mitzy/DB Hi,
I have no idea why it was delayed so long, apart from MMG research has to take second spot to Insingers house client companies, and Insinger have been very busy in that direction lately.
I have asked 'the big man' and he says September, and the Insinger analyst is meeting with MMG soon to get the latest info to put in the note.
As I said before, I will send it to you as soon as I get it :)
Cheers,
PM
