Europa Oil and Gas (EOAG)

barclay - 11 Jul 2006 16:33

Does anybody no the date of Europa's annual results? because based on the oil price this year and it,s 1000 boe output, i,m expecting a large turnover compared to previous years, plus some increased production figures.

I don't think the shares will rocket until then.

Hi Barclay,

EOG's Interim results for the six months ended 31 January 2006 came out at the end of April this year; expect Full Year's to be out in November as in 2005 as the fiscal year appears to end in July.

July is supposed to be the season of the increased production coming on-line. Expect an RNS to confirm; maybe if we're lucky we'll get a trading update as well.

Hopefully the news will give those warrants a kick - I'm not panicking but at the moment my investment is cruising at 50% of what I paid for it and it would be nice to get back in the black.

I have to underline that EOG has brought out a lot of positive news this year, so things hopefully augur well. I see that the gas price has come off a bit, though, according to oilbarrel.com, at $5.664/1,000 cu ft. Probably due to the hot summer; hopefully it won't affect EOG too badly as the Romanian gas market prices things differently anyway.

PS I'm not sure if the new production (increase from around 300 bbl/day to 1,000 bbl/day) will come soon enough to make a big difference to the Full Year results, given that the start-up date is "late July". There should be some kind of incremental increase though, I would think, from the other production. Maybe? Dunno, to be honest, but things look good for the near future.
