For years the market place has been flooded with mining exploration companies that promised the earth and delivered little. If you spend long enough looking you must a some point find what your looking. Having found it, surely the point would to get it out of the ground and sell it.
At last this seems to have sunk in and miners are now seeing the light. The leader in the field seems to be Matt Sutcliffe who promised last year to be one of the first to do just that and it seems that he is living up to his promise.
Alexander Mining operate out of Northern Argentina and Peru. Definately one to watch. The share are currently underpriced, this will not be the case for long.

Having written the above I decided to see if any other miners were on the verge of going into production. It seems that an unofficial race has developed with everyone pushing to be the first into production.
Another contender comming up is Beowulf Mining. It seems that they could be in production by early 2008.
Anyone know of any other mining companies worth watching?
