Aurelian is due to float on AIM tomorrow (22 August 2006), see also the article in Shares Mag 17-23 August 2006..
Oilbarrel.com has an interesting article on its homepage
HERE
Aurelian Oil & Gas currently has projects in three countries, Romania (3 blocks), Bulgaria (2 blocks) and Poland (2 blocks). Aurelian is the operator in all of these.
More information is available on the company website

A small amount of production is due to start up in Romania, i which Aurelian has a 28.75% stake (at Europa oil and Gas's three successful wells).
Quotes from Oilbarrel: "The most promising immediate prospect is probably in Poland. Aurelian is the operator of the Poznan East gas appraisal prospect (Aurelian 90 per cent) on the Siekierki field. Seismic data has been acquired and the first well is to be spudded in Q4 2006. Soctt Pickford has estimated gas in place at around 1 trillion cubic feet with around half of this, 500 billion cubic feet, recoverable. Michael Seymour reckons this will be a low risk well. We know the gas is there, he says.
"You start moving into the high-risk stuff in Bulgaria. Aurelian is currently the operator on two blocks - B-Golitza and B1-Golitza (both 75 per cent). The partner is JKX Bulgaria, which has an option to increase the stake to 50 per cent and take over the operatorship. The first deep well will be drilled in 2007. Scott Pickford reckons the total net prospective resources (assuming a 50 per cent interest) will be 2.3 trillion cubic feet of gas."
I hope to pad out this header a little more when I have time (or maybe start a new one when Aurelian's EPIC is confirmed) - meanwhile I am interested to hear whether anyone else has any views.
