Should be interesting and entertaining to say the least.

PapalPower - 05 Sep 2006 14:12 - 3 of 17

The old show was great, they mentioned a stock to buy and you could just watch it shoot through the roof.........

I wonder if it will have the same effect this time... ?

profitmaker - 05 Sep 2006 14:14 - 4 of 17

I as a West Ham supporter will only be watching it for the wonderful Hammerettes. I'm looking forward to getting a red hot tip from them.

PapalPower - 05 Sep 2006 15:07 - 5 of 17

LOL :)

I take it your looking for a good rise then..............

profitmaker - 05 Sep 2006 15:21 - 6 of 17

I did see some of Show me the Money, but I was not an active investor in those days. I remember the 60 second pitch. I hope he gets some of my investments' chairmen on. I'd like to see some rise in PET,ZTR,RDG,FRM. Any views on these, Papal? Seems like this is going to become our private message board.

stockbunny - 05 Sep 2006 15:22 - 7 of 17

Be interesting to tune in have a look, never saw the first show.

PapalPower - 05 Sep 2006 15:35 - 8 of 17

stockbunny, it used to be a great watch, entertaining, and watch the SP rise when a stock was tipped........

profitmaker, have not looked at them in detail, will take a look later.

Yes I remember, brilliant prog. The participants, in order to make the largest gains were tipping penny shares such as those discussed on bb's, stand by for action if you hold anything they tip.

papal,

I remember the show, and enjoyed it immensley!

It not only brought stocks and shares to the attention of the general public, as has been previously stated, it had dealing rooms stopped waiting for the "tip".

I particularly liked the one minute pitch.

PapalPower - 06 Sep 2006 02:11 - 11 of 17

Andy, its all coming back, the one minute pitch, the tip, the chats........and those Hammerettes as well......

Big Al - 06 Sep 2006 03:41 - 12 of 17

Gawd - brings back memories. ;-0

profitmaker - 06 Sep 2006 17:05 - 13 of 17

I found t1ps.com a bit hit and miss. I suppose this will be an extension of that. They will probably re-tip their favorites.

PapalPower - 07 Sep 2006 07:59 - 14 of 17

From performance so far I would say Tom is doing much better at t1ps.com than a lot of others (even those in Tom's stable like watshot etc..).

Confidant - 07 Sep 2006 09:48 - 15 of 17

Their latest mailshot and intro to what will be on the show

"Hi

I know that many of you have already registered with http://www.stockmarket-channel.tv ahead of our first weekly draw with 1000 pounds of prizes. If you have not registered already, please do sign up now

http://www.stockmarket-channel.tv is a totally new concept. It is TV on the Internet. As of October 2nd each day ITom Winnifrith will host a live 30 minute programme featuring Tom, a contestant, a star tipster and a CEO of a growth company.

It is a game show. Each contestant has an imaginary 1 million pounds to invest. But it should also be source of investment ideas, fast moving share tips and a rare opportunity to CEOs sweating in the hot seat explaining why shares in their company are cheap.

We have cracking share tipsters lined up including David Linton, Zak, Evil, Tomas Carruthers of iii and Ian King from the Sun and oils guru Stewart Dalby. And also me, Luke Heron!

And we have some cracking CEOs including a number you will know well. Oh - and Nigel Wray will make an appearance once a week and might even offer the odd share tip. This is serious stuff but it will be fun too.

The show starts on October 2nd at 11 am but register now - it costs nothing - and we will give you an advance steer on which tipsters are set to appear each week and much more.

Check it out now ahead of the first prize draw - just logon to http://www.stockmarket-channel.tv to register.

Best wishes
