Hello traders!

In the US tonight, stocks ended slightly higher as a commodities sell-off led by oil eased inflation concerns.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 5 points to an unofficial close of 11,397. The Nasdaq Composite rose 7 points to 2,173 while the S&P 500 put in a fractional gain, up 0.66 point to 1,299.58.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng closed the morning up 97.54 points at 17,046.13, while the Nikkei was recently dwon 76.43 points at 15,717.95.

New York's main oil contract, light sweet crude for October delivery, was up 28 cents at $65.89 a barrel from $65.61 in the US overnight.
