The Company has, together with its partners in the Nancy, Burdine and Maxine
Licence, advised Ecopetrol, the state oil company in Colombia that they intend
to proceed with the second phase of the licence. A development work programme
and budget is being prepared now for the re-entry of the Burdine 1, 4 and 5
wells.

The first phase was the re-entry of the Nancy 1 well which is now producing at
between 245 and 835 bopd of oil. The average production over the first month to
date that included many shutdowns to tie in gas handling equipment was 485.6
bopd. With increased confidence in the Nancy well, much of the onsite rented
equipment (such as pumps and tanks) is now being replaced with purchased
equipment. The Company's working interest is 40%.

San Alberto Well - XXI

November 02, 2006
Testing operations will restart on 7/11.

For Immediate Release 7th December 2006

Gold Oil plc ('Gold') update on the testing of their Peruvian exploration well

San Alberto-1X

San Alberto-1X was selected following extensive regional geological and
geophysical studies that tied in Block XXI to other Palaeozoic and Tertiary
wells and fields. The well was spudded on 11th July 2006 and reached total depth
of 5,113 feet on the 3rd August 2006, meeting the geological objectives of the
drilling programme.

The objectives of the wild cat were the Tertiary Verdun sands that produce gas
in Olympic's La Casita gas field 20 - 40 Kms to the west of San Alberto-1 and
the fractured Palaeozoic quartzites that produce oil in PetroTech's offshore San
Pedro field 50 kms to the west. Logging, drilling results and regional
information showed 250 gross feet of hydrocarbon bearing sands in the Palaeozoic
and 315 gross feet of hydrocarbon bearing sands in the Verdun. The decision was
taken to production test these hydrocarbon bearing sands in both the Verdun and
the Palaeozoic.

After circulating to completion fluid and running a slotted-liner over the
Palaeozoic the drilling rig was moved off location. After clearing the location
a work-over hoist and test facilities moved on to the well on 22nd August and
produced highly saline formation water at 960 barrels per day from the base of
the Palaeozoic, below the hydrocarbon bearing interval. After a period of
reflection a heavier rig was moved back onto the well on the 9th November, and
attempts were immediately made to remove the slotted liner. These attempts
failed and after attempts to cut the liner and recover it in shorter sections
failed, it was decided to attempt to test the deepest Palaeozoic by cementing
off the water as best as we could and perforating the slotted liner above the
cement plug. This failed to prevent water from being produced and eventually we
attempted to isolate the deeper Palaeozoic and perforate higher in the
Palaeozoic. Again, the same water flows were encountered. As all attempts to
shut off the water had failed it was decided to plug and abandon the testing of
the Palaeozoic and leave it for a future well. Fortunately well costs in this
area are still low in the $1.5 million region.

The Verdun was then isolated from the Palaeozoic and perforated, but again only
the same highly saline water was produced.

5/10/2006
PERUVIAN OPERATIONS

The Company is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract with a local
Drilling Contractor (Petex) for the testing of the San Alberto 1X exploration
well on Block XXI, onshore Sechura Basin in North West Peru. Depending upon the
time it takes to complete its current assignment in the Peruvian jungle, the rig
should be rigged up and ready for operations by late October or early November.

All documentation necessary for the Company and Plectrum Plc (our partner) in
Z34 that are necessary to get board approval from Perupetro is now in place. It
is most likely that approval should be obtained before the end of October. The
next step in the process is the approval of the Ministry of Energy and Mines
which can take anything up to four months. We have expressed our concerns with
the authorities that any slippage with the approvals would have an adverse
impact on the plans to bring in a seismic vessel into Peruvian waters jointly
with other offshore operators in 2007.

5/10/2006
COLOMBIAN OPERATIONS

The Nancy well has now stabilized further at a flow rate of 714 bbls per day
with a 4% BS&W (685 bopd). The BS&W is well completion fluid and should all be
removed by the weekend and an encouraging stable flow rate of 550 bopd is
expected once all the gas handling equipment has been completed and is
operational.

Although the operator has suffered many difficulties in completing the Nancy 1
workover in a difficult part of the country, the consortium is sufficiently
confident to commence a multi-well work over on the Bourdine 1, 4 and 5 wells.
At present the plan is to only perforate the previously perforated and produced
hydrocarbon zones (same as Nancy 1) before attempting to perforate virgin
hydrocarbon zones.

The technical information contained in this announcement has been reviewed and
approved by Mike Burchell, B.Sc., 66, member of the SPE and with over 44 years
experience in the oil and gas business.

Latest News From The Web Site October 2, 2006

Peru XXI October 2, 2006
The well was put on test on August 23. Reservoir water was recovered at a rate of 940 bbls per day by swabbing. On August 29 the Company ceased swabbing and released the work over unit to further evaluate how to test the hydrocarbon zones identified on the logs. The conclusion was that reservoir water was being produced from somewhere in preference to the hydrocarbons over the 2000 foot open hole.
The Company instigated a technical review of the logs, locally and internationally, which confirmed the original interpretation of 250 gross feet of hydrocarbon bearing sands in the Palaeozoic and 315 gross feet of hydrocarbon bearing sands in the Verdun.
The future programme is now to recover the 2 7/8 production tubing, recover the 5 inch slotted liner and run 5 casing and cement. The 2 7/8 production tubing would be reinserted and the deepest hydrocarbons zones in the Palaeozoic would be perforated first and tested before moving up the hole and testing shallower interval in the Palaeozoic. The first, deeper zone, to be tested has not been seen in the offshore Petrotech San Pedro Field wells drilled to date. However, the shallower zone that produces oil in San Pedro is present in San Alberto and this is the shallower zone that will be perforated and tested.
Depending upon the success of testing the Palaeozoic a decision will be taken to either complete the well as a Palaeozoic producer or to temporarily suspend the Palaeozoic and to perforate and test the Verdun, the upper part of which produces gas in the nearby Las Casita field.
The equipment and services for this programme are now being contracted with an expected start date of mid to late October.

Z34 October 02, 2006
Negotiations are now completed with Perupetro and the Company hopes to have the licence contract approved by the new board of Perupetro in late October. The next step in the process will be the formal approval of the Ministry of Energy and Mines which usually can be expected within 4 months.

Colombia October 2, 2006
Insert [1] The deal allows the Company to have a beneficial interest in the licence. As there are many restrictions on how many licences Companies are permitted to hold in Colombia the Company may not seek title to this licence until the Company is of sufficient size to be immune to such restrictions. Should the Company decide to seek title to the licence as opposed to just a beneficial interest, then such assignment will be subject to the approval of Ecopetrol.

October 2, 2006
Approval was finally obtained from the Ministry to start production but after only a few hours pumping out workover fluid from the well the hydraulic power pump that drives the downhole jet pump suffered a mechanical failure. A replacement pump was installed by the vendor and the well began production, and then the surface pump failed again and was replaced by the vendor. In the meantime the well flowed at rates of between 467 and 738 bbls per day for a period of 12 hours before the surface pump failed again. The initial flow contained 60% oil, 30% completion fluid from cleaning up the well and 10% emulsion.
The surface pump was replaced again and production recommenced. As of Friday, September 29, the well was producing between 830 and 683 bbls per day of 26.8o API gravity oil and 24% completion fluid. First deliveries to the point of sale were made over the weekend with production now averaging 550 bopd with completion fluid down to 7% of the well fluids.

East Colombia
On September 20, the Company submitted an application to the ANH for an exploration licence for an area in north eastern Colombia. The area has some seismic and nearby developed oil fields. One prospect has been identified that is ready for drilling once all the approvals have been received. Depending upon the time taken to get Government and Environmental approvals, a well could be spudded in a little over 12 months from now, should the application be successful.

Brazil October 2, 2006
Latest technical information shows that the blocks awarded in the 8th round licensing round are not worth pursuing if the work programme enforced by the ANP is carried out. ANP has not yet made a decision but it looks likely that the Company will drop the blocks. The Company will now concentrate on the next licencing round of exploration blocks due in November.

New Aplication, March 9, 2007
In September 20, 2006, the Company made an application for a new exploration block with the ANH in Colombia. On March the 7, 2007, the Company was informed that we had qualified for the block and we now enter a period of exclusive negotiations with the ANH for the licence. These negotiations must be completed in a period of 60 days and in the past has always resulted in the companys applying in being successful in being awarded the licence.

March 9, 2007
Nancy production only averaged 230 bopd for the month due to a series of shutdowns due to failure of the surface pump over half the month. The pump is leased and is being replaced with a new pump purchased by the group. The field however, had daily peak production of 660 bopd which slows little decline since the field started in late September 2006. Following a pressure test survey, due shortly, a new reserves estimate for the Nancy field will be prepared. From initial decline curve analysis it looks like the reserves could be about double what we first estimated.

The final well report on San Alberto 1 has been completed and reviewed by the Company. A decision on the way forward to fully appraise the block has been made and tenders are out at present seeking cost estimates for the work. In the meantime BPZ, has discovered a low viscosity 22API oil that flowed at 3000 bopd at only 6000 feet in a block to the North of Block XXI, when the target was gas. Quite where this low API oil is coming from is yet another mystery of the petroleum systems in North West Peru.

z34 peru
March 9, 2007

On March 8, 2007, the Company signed the licence contract with Perupetro for Block Z34, together with our 50% partner Plectrum Petroleum PLC.

This is a major milestone for the Company as we believe the whole area has substantial oil and gas opportunities and has never been explored to any great extent. Following the old adage the best place to find an oil field is next door to an oil field, then this block is ideal as it sits between the kitchen and four large oil fields.

Work has already commenced on the environmental impact assessment with a plan to shoot over 2000 km of 2 D seismic at the year end, but more likely in early 2008. The seismic programme will be followed up with a CSCM survey that will identify hydrocarbon bearing structures. A first well is not likely until mid to late 2008. Several major oil companies have already expressed an interest in farming into the block.

May 9 2007
"Gold Oil PLC said it expects to drill at least one well and possibly two or more in the San Alberto-1X wild cat well, its onshore block in North West Peru after conducting for the first time an electromagnetic surface survey over target area.
The company said the new survey costs one-sixth of the seismic survey and identifies hydrocarbon accumulations rather than structural boundaries.
Gary Moore, managing director of the company said: 'With all time high manpower and equipment costs in the industry, never mind availability, we need to acquire as much useful information as possible at as low a cost as possible. We could drill a lot of wells for the current cost of a modest 2D seismic survey.'
Gold Oil added that it will be the first time such technology will be used in Latin America and anticipates the survey will be completed and evaluated within 3 months. "

During the month of May the well was closed in for 12 days for a downhole pressure survey that extended into early June. The average production for May was 273.4 bopd.
The results of the pressure survey indicate that larger pumps (downhole and on surface) may enable production to increase above current rates and a study is presently underway with the pump manufacturer to optimise capcity.
