Hello traders!

In late trading in New York, the Dow Jones was ahead 109.34 points at 12,111.71.

The S&P500 rose 7.23 points to 1,375.83, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 12.72 points to 2,355.02.

Good morning traders!

In Asia today, the Hang Seng ended the morning up 81.21 points at 18,171.06, while the Nikkei was recently up 28.37 points at 16,817.19.

The New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil contract, light sweet crude for December delivery, was down a cent at $58.80 a barrel from its close of $58.81 in the US overnight.
